I bought a 5T for my 4yo who is 42 and it is too small (no growing room). He is five feet tall and weighs 42 pounds. In all his size 5 clothing, there is a little room to grow, but in this 5T size there is none. For instance, we could keep it and it would fit for a month or so, but it would eventually be too small. As for the shorts, they are mid thigh, not the longer kind you see on boys or boarders. Our size will be larger this time, so we need a little more room to grow. Although it seems to be well made and is of good quality. There was just something about the fit that did not fit.
