No alterations were necessary for my two-year-old, who wears a size 3T. It's the most cost-effective material ever. frays around the buttonholes, but for his one-of-a-kind item, it was a reasonable price. As a ring bearer, you'll need to dress up for the occasion. The bow tie is attached with a clip. The elastic in the pants is useful.
