I would recommend ordering a size up just to be safe. My son's true size was too small, so I ordered a larger size. The top was the right size, but the pants were a little too big. The pants, on the other hand, I was able to quickly alter:

" My boys served as coin bearers at a wedding, but they were "corn bears," as my five-year-old puts it. We were looking for navy blue suits, and these fit the bill perfectly. The average age of an eight-year-old is 49 years. A 5-year-old is about 43 inches tall, while a 50-inch-tall adult is about 50 inches tall. A size 7 is worn by an 8-year-old, while a size 5 is worn by a 5-year-old. The suits were a good fit for them, a little snug at times, but the next size up would have been too big for both of them. For an Amazon suit, the quality is quite good. If my boys require suits in the future, I would definitely consider purchasing again.

I apologize for not having a picture, but I bought a size 8 for a wedding. My son is a 6/7 7 who is pushing the envelope. (He's small for a 6) I only bought an 8 because I was told to size up so it could be altered. The tailor advised that you order a size smaller because the pants were too big and the jacket was too long. I went from a size 6 to a size 7. Pants are still too big, but that's okay because the jacket fits much better, with only the sleeves needing to be adjusted. I'd recommend ordering your child's size in case it doesn't fit. Please return it and place a new order. I'll definitely order from you again because the shipping was quick.
