According to the Rainbow Sandals website, there are a total of 6. Order 7/8 if you have a 5" foot.
It is, in fact, genuine leather. It will be extremely tight at first. Don't be concerned about wear; they will stretch out over time. It may take you 8 to 12 hours to wear them. 10 times. Leather is, without a doubt, present.
Hello rainbows fit tight and take some time to break in. I always buy the next size up because they are a little tight at first. I've bought the size down and she complained as they stretched out. It's better to be safe than sorry if you have to hear about it. Haha
My 5-year-old son is a size 13 in shoes. I don't think he'd be able to wear flip flops until he was about three years old, and then only in sizes eight and up.

If you are new to Rainbow sandals, you should be aware that purchasing the size that fits you will result in a very tight and uncomfortable strap. If you can put up with the discomfort for a few days, these sandals will be one of the most comfortable and long-lasting sandals you'll ever own once they've been broken in. Also, I've owned several pairs of these sandals (in adult sizes) and they last for at least a couple of years with almost daily use, and the straps on all of them have held up well. Having said that, we did not want to put our nephew through such a "break-up" situation. We wanted to get him his own Rainbows because he wanted to be just like us =), especially since he is new to sandals and his feet are growing at a rapid rate. So the size we got him is a little big for his feet, but he can wear them now and they will break in gradually as his feet grow larger.
Yikes. I'm a huge fan of Rainbow sandals, so I couldn't wait to be obnoxious and match my son's shoes to mine. The first pair, despite being his usual size, was far too small; the next size up was the correct length/width, but the back strap around the ankle was so tight that it left indentions, and he complained that they hurt. Darn.
My 9-year-old son was the recipient of these. I expected them to be similar to my rainbow flip flops, which are comfortable and have excellent arch support, but they have none! My son has very high arches, and finding flip flops with any arch support is extremely difficult; we live in Florida, so flip flops are a necessity; I am disappointed, but he loves the fact that his flip flops match his parents.
Great product, but the sizing for my toddler was completely incorrect. Not typical of Rainbow sandals, which I've been wearing for over ten years and will never buy again. I don't think it's the back strap, but I can't put my toddler through the "wear them in" process. I was hoping to find the next size up, but nothing in 7/8 Toddler is available for purchase here.
These rainbows fit our daughter perfectly and are true to size. The back strap does not fall down when she runs around in them.
You're missing out if you've never heard of rainbows. These are for people who wear flip flops on a regular basis, not for people who buy reefs. The term "sandals" should never be used to describe these. We are Floridians and we wear Flops for 90 of our outfits. These last a very long time and are well worth the money.
My 3-year-old son is a size 7 and I am his mother. I went with a 7-inch sandal size. It would have been a 7 if it hadn't been for the fact that it was an There isn't any space for expansion. My son developed a blister between his toes because the band in between his toes was too thick. Only once was it worn. I was looking for a comfortable, durable summer shoe for him after spending so much money on these sandals.
