Our family consists of a keen and a merrell. There is no better pair of sandals than these. I like the width of the keen sandals but find the traditional ones too heavy. The Moxie boots are too narrow, and the CNX boots are the best, but my kids 2, 5, and 7 have a difficult I think these shoes are perfect. It has a wide toe box but a normal shaft, and it is light weight. The material dries quickly and is easy to wear.
Every summer since I have been raising my children, I have been buying them keens. As soon as I saw these stingrays, I just had to try them out! My daughter has worn them to the pool twice, it's a long walk, and she hasn't complained from the time she walked there, to the pool and splash pad, and all the way home! My wife is so impressed that she bought us these for our daughters. The Newports fit true to size and are lighter than the Converse, which she loves.
I love these little cuties because they are drying and flexible, so my child's feet are always happy. We both like the colors, but I really appreciate the soles of the shoes. The 5yr old son of a young family. The shoes fit him so well and he walks so well in them. My son is able to walk in the mucky grass in these without having to let them dry. They are durable and he can even walk in the wet grass in these! As well as being cute, they are also very funny. The keens my son is wearing are his second pair of this style. The people in his life are important to him. After the first pair he wore every day for a year, he had to outgrow it.
