Compared to other shoes, these are slimmer. A friend of mine has a kid that is slim (not super skinny) but still wears a pretty standard size. One of my kids is big in the rear end, but short in the The actual size of the boy was very tight, so I had to size up and shorten his legs. You might want to consider these
This is probably a pair of pants that every boy could wear, but I bought them for a 10 year old boy who liked them.

In my son's experience, he was only able to wear these pants once before the plastic end that is inserted into the zipper pull ripped away from the rest of the zipper, making it very difficult to zip up the pant legs. Additionally, the zipper is now doing that thing where the sides don't catch together after you zip it up.
The pros are I really like the green color here, and the other colors are also pretty. You can zip off the shorts at the zip off points As for the zips, I found them very easy to put The feature came in handy when my son's shoes got caked with salt on the bottom while we were visiting the salt flats, and I was able to remove them without effort. In general, the more minimal the look is, the more clean and modern it appears My favorite feature about these pants was their zipper pocket. I don't like the look of traditional cargo pants. The cons are In addition to the above issue, the bottoms ended up pretty gross because of the large size (the bottoms were baggy because of this issue and the one above)

There is a different brand (Columbia) of toddler pants in the picture, and I prefer them rather (they are not Additionally, they are not available in larger sizes.
As described, these pants were not quite as good as I had expected, and the quality wasn't what I expected either. Both pairs I purchased would have been returned, but I waited too late, so my donation will be the recipient.
I ordered the size 14 relaxed fit jeans for an 11 year old who wears a size 14 regular fit jean. That's a tight fit.
It looks like the pictures I have posted are pretty wide-legged based on their size, but my sons loves them nonetheless.
The quality is good, but the size is a little It is time for me to order the next size.
It's been a great experience ordering these for my son who is in Scouts. Being able to wear shorts and pants at the same time is very convenient for him.
I like the way it fits and how well it washes. There are however no quick dry or wicking properties to this For us, it's not a problem, but this might be a problem for others.
