Questions & Answers
Yes and no; the back and front of the jacket are lined with fleece, but the arms aren't. The part that isn't lined is extremely thin. Under the coat, I had to wear an extra fleece. The puffy pants keep the child warm when worn with jeans or warm sweatpants underneath. Both are water resistant, but only in light rain. It is CERTAINLY NOT VALUE FOR MONEY IN THE AMOUNT OF $60
It's not waterproof, and I wouldn't wear it in the cold. Those items will be more expensive.
The hood cannot be tightened in any way.

This was purchased for my son, who wore it to the mountain for snow play last weekend. The size 5 was the one we chose. 6 and it fits him well (he is almost 6), and he was pleased with the jacket in particular, as well as his dinosaur appearance. However, I wish the adjustable strap had a better design because the clip is on the inside of the strap (I tried changing the way the straps were inserted into the clip, but it wouldn't stay in place). He never expressed any discomfort, but undoing the clip was extremely difficult. When we needed to remove the shoulder straps, we simply unzipped the zipper and pulled them off. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: After a few days in the snow, I've discovered that none of the jacket's pockets had zippers to keep things in, and there were no pockets in the bib, which I find to be quite inconvenient. My son makes me carry his when I'm not wearing it because the jacket zipper doesn't have a loop to hook on the gloves. When buying new ones next year, I will definitely pay more attention to these details. br>br>Second Edit: He spent the weekend learning to snowboard and had nowhere to hang his ski pass, gloves, or anything else. After 3- His pants appear to be wet after four hours in the snow. The inside is still completely dry, but the material on the outside appears and feels damp; it simply does not soak through; perhaps there is a layer in the middle that keeps it waterproof. Overall, it's still very cute, and we've gotten many compliments on it, but it's not very practical.
We purchased a size 7 for a six-year-old and a size 5/6 for a four-year-old. The thickness is comparable to that of a regular winter coat, rather than stiff like that of other winter pants.
It goes on and on. So, on the light weight side, I'm not sure how well it'll handle actual snow, but it's been great for our cold autumn weather. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> This suit has helped us get through a particularly difficult winter. We had a lot of snow, which kept my three-year-old warm. The jacket is a fantastic winter coat on its own. I'm very pleased with my purchase, and I'll be disappointed when he outgrows it! In addition, I've included a photo!.
Gloves were purchased separately and were not included in the package. br>Excellent quality and true to size; my 14-month-old son wears a size 2T.
Zipper broke the first time I put it on the child, please don't make crap with plastic zippers. I'm disappointed because it's cute and my grandson likes it, so I'll pay $12 to have it fixed.
My son is a rambunctious young man who enjoys roughhousing. As a result, he takes a lot of abuse to his clothes. All year long, he enjoys being outside. We ordered a size larger and were able to wear it for two seasons! He'd spend every day in the snow without getting wet. He stayed warm and didn't rip the fabric. Once my son outgrew it, it was in good enough shape to pass down to our nephew. We'd like to order it again for two more seasons.
We've been wearing the jacket on its own because it's light and warm. Little ones will find it easier to learn how to zip because the zipper glides. Because we've only recently started wearing the outfit, I didn't give it a rating for durability. I'm pretty sure it'll withstand our winter conditions. This is such a sweet outfit. I really like it and would order it again in a larger size as my child grows. I'm extremely happy!.
I ordered a size 7 because he's a small 6 year old and I wanted them to last. They are outstanding. They were snugged up to the bibs' tightest spot. The jacket was a little too big for him, but he'll wear it a lot. They are his absolute favorite and keep him toasty warm. He's only worn them twice so far, but they appear to be quite sturdy.
