A 5T is a kid's size that is typically made for toddlers. Size 7,8,9, and so on are slender and longer while size 8,9, and so on are wider and shorter.
The adult may not be able to fit into it.
I bought two large ones for myself, and I'm 5'7 tall! You may need to get adult sizes, since I'm 5'7. I do not believe YOU will need a large but based on your height, you may need to step up to an adult size.
