Compared to adult DT socks, these are just ok

It turns out there is very little wool content in these as I purchased them for the kids. Although my daughter has cold feet, the extra warmth she gets from her boots makes them nice and warm. Our family bought one pair of socks for each member of the household, but the kids' socks aren't as great as the adults'.

Great socks! I am in love with them! The well-made shoes are not too thick or too thin for my active 6 year old daughter's feet. (We bought a large for her size 3 foot, she has long feet. )
She wears them all day and they leave her feet feeling cool all day long.
