No, it should fit fine; my children received it when they were 18 months old, and it fit perfectly.
It may be a little big in my opinion, but I like to get two seasons out of everything I buy, so I think it'll be fine; if he's wearing 18 months, he'll be approaching size 2T soon, so it makes sense.

Mittens can be worn until they get wet. The hat has a lovely design. My toddler's head is kept warm thanks to the thick fabric. It was a bit of a risk because he's never left a hat on his head before, but he adores this Elmo stocking hat. He won't leave the house without it, along with his mittens, and he does it all by himself. The fact that it came with three pairs of mittens is fantastic. They're frequently thrown in the laundry because they're not waterproof. Only five of the six mittens are in my possession at any given time, but I can always have a clean, dry pair waiting for him at the door. The only drawback is that they aren't insulated, so they won't keep his hands warm when he goes outside to play, but they'll suffice for short periods of time.
These were purchased for our two-year-old grandson, who is a big fan of Elmo. He walks around with his hat and gloves on - Backwards and forwards are two words that are often used interchangeably. The hat is comfortable to wear and well-made. Despite a lot of use and washings, there are no signs of wear. Including multiple sets of mittens is a great idea. He loves them and wears them all, so they're a good fit. He wore them every morning when he got out of bed for the first few weeks. Of course, there's the hat. Definitely a win for quality, as it keeps our grandson warm while also pleasing him.
The hat is quite large, fitting for a 3-year-old. He is four years old. Warm and fully covers the ears of a child. The mittens are made of a light knit material that is not suitable for use in the snow or on extremely cold days.
Elmo is one of my two-year-old's favorite characters, and he adored these. They were given to us as a present for our Ohio trip. He ended up leaving them on because they kept his head, ears, and hands warm. I would recommend it to any toddler who enjoys Elmo. material that is extremely soft.
The various mitten pairs are useful in case we misplace one, which we haven't done yet. My two-year-old daughter is enthralled by each pair we buy her and insists on wearing her Elmo hat all of the time! Everything seems to go together nicely.
My 18-month-old grandson is a big fan of Elmo. He enjoys being outside, so I figured I'd give these a try now that the weather has turned cold. He was instantly smitten and insisted on putting on his hat and gloves before venturing outside. He can still pick up things and play while wearing the gloves, which is ideal for outdoor activities.
This was a Christmas present for my 3-year-old nephew, and he absolutely loves it! He hasn't complained about them because they are warm and stretch well, but that could be due to the Elmo on them!.
