Is it true that this hat isn't suitable for female wearers? It appears to be a girl's hat, but why would it be called a boy's hat rather than a unisex hat if that were the case?

Baymax from Big Hero 6 is a favorite of my grandson's. There's no reason why a female would not adore Baymax.
