These were ordered for my grandchildren to wear at our son's wedding. They will be the ring bearers at the wedding. The event will take place outside. The kids are four and eight years old. Tuxedos were ruled out because they were too expensive and uncomfortable to wear. In any case, I wanted them to be dressed similarly and in a nice manner. I was blown away by the quality and craftsmanship, as was the bride, and the brown leather-like details were just perfect. I would strongly suggest it. Navy blue was chosen as the color of choice.
My 18-year-old son looked great in the bow tie. On Easter, he didn't take it off for the entire day. It can be adjusted a lot to fit a child much older than mine; I had it nearly as small as it could go. The suspenders appear to be of good quality, but he has yet to put them on to confirm this.
When I first got it, I gave it 5 stars, but I had to come back and change my mind. To begin with, the set appeared to be very nice, but the tie was poorly made, and it fell apart before the wedding even began. The suspenders appear to be in good condition, and I'll let you know if I notice anything else that might be useful to others considering this item.
My 9-month-old, who wears a size 12 M, was able to wear it perfectly. 18 M. The straps can be tightened or loosen up as needed. In these, as well, he has room to grow. I believe they would work just as well (if not better) in a 24 M frame. Because they're a solid color, they go with a wide range of outfits. He was described as "adorable" by everyone.
I bought these for my 6-year-old and 7-year-old children to wear to a wedding. They appear to be exactly as shown in the photos. The suspenders were almost too big for the 7-year-old, but we managed to make them work. My 6-year-old daughter loves them. These are definitely worth a look. It's simple to adjust and of excellent quality.
The bow tie only lasted an hour, which was enough to get us through the wedding, but I was disappointed that it ripped so easily. Suspenders are adorable, and we'll definitely be wearing them again. These items are fine if you only plan on using them once or twice, but I wouldn't use them on a regular basis.
