White Cotton Christening Baptism Gown with Lace Border with Bonnet

After comparing the two dresses, we found that the other two were in much better condition and were also made from 100% cotton. My expectations were not met by the length of the sleeves on this dress. Good quality and soft fabric make this dress a great choice. There is no sizing chart provided but the fabric is thin and sheer, so you'll need to add a slip or you'll see baby's diaper through it. Despite the dress's simplicity and lack of detailing, our bonnet was missing any matching details. The dress was purchased on Amazon along with two other dresses at the same price point and found the other dresses to have been a better value, all of which were 100% cotton and manufactured in the USA. This dress is quite lovely though, thanks to the eyelet detail. Ultimately, we chose not to keep this dress and looked at other options instead.

The simplicity of this gown was what drew me to it. A fellow parent said that she didn't want her baby girl to look like she was going to prom in a gaudy baptism gown! We used a white onsie and white tights under it because it was so thin. Probably a slip could be worn if you care so much about it, but I just used a very light fabric and eyelet details on the arms and hemline. It must have been a beautiful gown, because we received so many compliments on it. It was a great purchase and I would buy it again without hesitation!.

The dress received was a completely different one from what is pictured in all 4 photos. Unlike the dress I received and the bonnet on this dress, this dress has a plainer bottom and lace-trimmed bonnet. Styling on this dress was very good. I am sending you a reply Thank you very much! I hope I will be able to reorder (and receive the correct dress) in time.

There was nothing complicated about it, but it was It was only the bonnet that detracted from a 5 star rating. There was not enough lace border around it to match the dress and it would have looked much better if it had that.
