It is a truly pristine white, so if that's what you are looking for, then you will find it in this dress. I purchased the dress in a size 9 months for my 16 lb 7 month old daughter and it fits perfectly. In any case, I did not want the ivory option, and I did not want stark white, so I am returning it. Despite the dress being a nice dress for the price, you can't expect it to be as luxurious as an expensive, soft lace dress when it's only My advice to you would be to buy this lace dress if you're set on lace and it's within your budget. In addition to a crystal sash, I planned to add a pearl sash to make it stand out, but I would have been happy with it (with my additions) even if I did find another dress that I liked on clearance. There is no reason to be disappointed! I love this picture so much! Because other reviewers had complained that the pure white version was too 'bright white,' I chose the ivory version, which is very light in color and looks like a vintage gown passed down over the generations

What a beautiful gown this is. There is a noticeable difference between ivory and white on the ivory, though it still looks beautiful. While wearing the gown, you will feel very warm. Our daughter wore it for the ceremony and that was it, we changed her clothes for the baptismal lunch afterwards (this was in February before baptizing her). For the price, I am happy with the quality of the material under the lace, but I would have liked a better material under the lace.
