For two of my grandchildren, I purchased this hat in two sizes and designs. Because I live in Florida, I appreciated how lightweight and breathable the fabric and design were. The hats are very well made and fit true to size. I would highly recommend them. They're also cute on, and the elastic cord, combined with the adjustable chin strap, keeps the hat in place without being uncomfortable. Without being "too floppy," the brim helps to keep the sun off your face. I'm afraid I can't comment on how well they clean because they're supposed to be hand washable and line dried. They should be able to maintain their shape as a result of this.

The 24-month period is a good match. The hat is adjustable around the head and has a chin strap that can be removed and adjusted. The hat is roomy and provides adequate sun protection. I love that my son can see clearly while the sun is shielded from his face.

This is fantastic. A sun hat with an adjustable strap to fit my little guy's large head was exactly what I was looking for. The strap has taken a lot of abuse and hasn't come apart or detached in the least. That aspect, in particular, has made me very happy. The crab design is fantastic. When he's grumpy, this is perfect.

My two-and-a-half-year-old daughter and my four-year-old son each received one of these hats. They are extremely fond of them. The quality is excellent, and the dimensions are accurate. They can be adjusted as well.

This was purchased for my daughter who has very fair skin. He chose the design himself and wore it on a beach trip with us. It was nice that the hat could be adjusted to fit his head circumference and that the straps could be removed. The hat provided him with adequate protection. Dislike is that I bought the hat too small for him to grow into for the next couple of years, despite the fact that he isn't quite 4 and is an average size.

The hat is also adjustable around the brim, allowing him to get a perfect fit. The brim is large enough to shield his entire face while remaining small enough not to obstruct his vision. I can carry him around while he's wearing it, and he can also ride in his stroller while wearing it. Sun protection for the head and face is a good investment.

It's a cute and easy-to-clean hat. It shields the face and neck from the sun. In windy conditions, the adjustable sliding clip on the strap helps secure it under the chin and keeps it in place. The clips that hold the strap to the hat, on the other hand, are easily undone. To keep it from slipping out, super glue would probably be sufficient. Even so, for what it is, it is a good buy. br>br>Details on sizing: I placed an order for the 3T- To keep at preschool for outdoor play, I bought a 5T size for my then 3-year-old. It had become too small for him by the time he turned four. My advice is to measure your child's head and order a size larger if possible to allow for growth.

The strap is detachable from the hat and can be removed. Pulling on the chin strap when it is attached to the hat, however, does not release it, posing a strangulation hazard to children. This is a very dangerous situation. I returned the hat, but I wanted to leave a review so that other potential buyers are aware that it is unsafe.
