I bought these slippers for my son (2 years) but the footbed is very thick and it is quite hard. His feet would literally rub against one side of the slipper and it was quite uncomfortable for him. The foam pad ended up being removed since they are so cute and it works. This is the size 8- I bought I use a size 9 for my little boy who is 2 years old, so maybe the 10 will be good for you too. I'm not sure how many inches are in a foot.

My son still loves them but one of them is falling apart. The shoes fit well, his feet haven't grown since he bought them. Usually he wears them between 3 and 4 hours a day The only time we do it is 4 days a week. Once they have been hand washed and aired out to dry, they have been set out to dry again. I'm not sure whether my expectations are too high but for the price I would expect them to last much longer. His request is for the same ones again, but I do not want to spend $20 on new house shoes every five months. My son's other shoes are a size 6/6. Since the shoe was a size up, I ordered up a size. As a 5 I ordered these Steve Madden Mickey House shoes in a 7/8, and they fit snugly with a little wiggle room. The width of the shoes is perfect for my son's feet because they are not wide. The fact that these do not have large eyes or heavy heads on the front of the shoe is crucial to me. We have not encountered slipping issues because almost all of our floors are carpet, so it has not been a problem I can't believe how much he loves these and wears them the whole time we are home, and even naps in them because he doesn't.
