My sole purpose in getting this strap is that the Elite strap is unavailable and the strap that comes with the Quest 2 is garbage and would cause me to strain my wrist if I played a game for lengthy periods of time. The factory strap can be replaced with this strap, which is cost-effective and comfortable. The Oculus Quest 2 is highly recommended to any owner of the device. It allows me to play Beatsaber for a much longer period of time since I got it! It would have been nice to have speakers as well.

A 12inch drop on to carpet resulted in the broken OEM strap on my Oculus Elite. We are out of stock for replacement Oculus. There is a 3rd party replacement strap for the Oculus Elite headset available for same-day shipping on Amazon Prime.

This replacement strap is a little more compact than the Elite strap from Oculus. As opposed to the competition, I ordered this strap due to the more compact fit appearance on the back of my I decided that the larger supporting head strap on the rear was more preferable to me when I arrived and evaluated it. I agree with other reviewers that the quality of the strap mechanism and the soft support is just a little bit less than the OEM strap, but the plastic band that failed on the OEM Oculus Elite strap seems like it will last longer on this replacement than it did on the original. There is a crack in my Elite strap. What a shock. In the meantime, I looked for another on Amazon while I awaited Facebook to send me my new one. As with the Elite, I wanted something of the same style. Generally, a slim profile is preferred, and the Halo straps do not fit Then I visited the retailer's website, read what reviews it had so far (it had only been released about a month ago) and decided to purchase I was able to use a $10 off coupon at the time I purchased it. In comparison to the factory version, this upgrade is much more functional. I have only one problem. It very soon became evident that the product was of poor quality upon following the instructions for installing the top strap. I suspect they forgot to glue the small hook portion of the Velcro strap to the large loop portion of it the first time it detached. My guess is that if it were glued properly, it would work fine. In spite of this, I didn't purchase it with the intention of gluing things together in order to make it work.

It looked compact and easy to adjust, so I bought it. After trying it for a few hours I can say that it is more comfortable than the Quest 2 elastic head strap. It also fits within my JSVER case that is made to hold the Quest 2 halo head However, since its portability is more important to me than its comfort, this head strap is less comfortable than some of the larger cradle models available. Because I have not used the official Quest halo strap, I cannot compare it with that one, but for the price, I am very pleased with this one.
