It was suggested that I get an Elite strap or an aftermarket strap similar to one. I then heard about all the cracking stories with these units, so I decided to buy this one As far as the Q2 should have shipped, this is how it should have looked. There is an immediate difference between the two As I wait for my power-up, I'll let you know I am going to try it with the pouch to see how it holds up (should balance out the "heaviness" of all VR sets) and I expect the comfort level will rise An example of it fitting into this case is shown in the picture below.

I use these and omg, these make a huge The original straps that you have come with these are much better than the other ones. It's for my wife. I purchased the other ones and she claims that they're blurry. She says that the images are blurry since the straps work differently. It works for me as well. Buying this is good for you, and it is superior to any of the others.

It is necessary to remove the strap in order to install this support. If you just got your quest (like myself at the time of buying this) it comes off at the sides, so be careful not to pull on the audio portion of the arms. The strap clips around the arms, while the top strap is a little You slip this support through the existing strap, then you replace it with the new strap. As soon as the headset is on, you feel a good amount of pressure relief as the headset sits at the back of your head and does a great job of offsetting the weight of the Quest. Because the headset is solid plastic, it gives the padding more stability. That in turn means I require a bit of space in my hard drive case when I have Though that's a relatively small disadvantage when compared to the extra support.

In terms of the cusion itself, it's cushiony and nice. I enjoy the feeling of this against my head. In addition, it is well made, with the hard outer shell, as well as the thick carpet inside. When it is installed, it is also very easy. Five minutes tops was all it took for me to get it on my headband. In the short term, I have no need for the accessories that were thrown in, but it's nice that, for this price point, they included a battery strap and other things. I also have a case for the headset and controllers - the controllers fit into two straps on the inside of the top lid of the case, and the case closes down to hold the headset and controllers, which fit inside the bottom of the case. I was very concerned that although it was a small hardshell case, and it all fit beautifully and snugly, adding this to the headset straps would make it impossible to close the case, as it would prevent the controllers from nesting when closed. I just close the case, and I mean, I just close the case, and I am able to zip up my bag with everything inside. So, if my description sounds like a case you might own. . There is barely any way that it will close with this thing on it, Do you notice any difference in the wearability of the Oculus 2 when using it? Without a doubt. What are your thoughts on the construction of the product? In short, yes. if I wanted to buy it again, would I? Without a doubt. It is better than the Bobo VR halo strap, Steve "the Master" McGregor's Elite strap, or any other cheap knockoff Elite strap - The device retains the compact, light form factor of the Quest 2 while sacrificing none of the comfort or weight of a larger strap, which is the reason it is one of the best-touring solutions in the market right now. A simple modified headset is made much more comfortable with this pad it's incredible how much better it feels It slides over the back of the original strap, providing a soft, plush feeling like one would find on a VRcover face pad replacement. The frontal portion of the aircraft is removed Overuse of the headset can cause headaches or nausea, since pressure from the headset is cutting down on those effects Increasing the tension. In most cases, this is assumed if one already owns a VRcover pad (which is inarguably a necessary purchase for Quest 2 owners) so as to enjoy a softer facial interface. br>My only criticism would be the tone of white they chose for the pleather/rubber material used for the cushion, it looks a bit off against the greyish-white of the interior. There is a white tone to the Quest 2 itself, but it's more eggshell white, like it's not been washed. It is a very minor issue, and I understand the difficulty of manufacturing something that perfectly matches the Quest, but it isn't necessary nor does it add any real value or benefit to the product other than making it look aesthetically pleasing. The rest of this review makes it clear that this product, over nearly anything else on Amazon, is an excellent choice if you're looking to improve the comfortability of your Quest 2 while not compromising anything else on portability, weight, quality or cost. Many aspects of its product and value make it better than its competitors There should have been a download for this included with Quest 2. If you want to claim your warranty, you should stay clear of the poorly engineered Elite strap.
