I have another Oculus 2 with sensors, so this doesn't work with that. It fits well over the foam on the face and stays in place nicely. Jumping all over the backyard and playing games like Beat Saber and Arizona Sunshine has been a breeze with no problems with fit or gameplay. I highly recommend this book.
I'm not sure if there is more than one size available.
This silicone cover is the only part of the device.
By covering the foam with silicon, this cover does not get in the way, being more hygienic and easy to clean than foam would be

I have quite a wide and shorter nose, so the gaps let a lot of light The light was so abundant, that my Quest 2 would constantly lose connection as the proximity sensor was confused by such an abundance of light. The Quest 2 would simply turn black after loading the Oculus logo, making it necessary to use my fingers to block the light in order to get it to start. The two pictures above are this silicone cover, and a similar one for the Quest 1. The matte version of this is more matte-colored, while the Quest 1 version is shinier (and not as well suited to the device, but that's just inevitable as it is made for another model). Here you can see how the nose flaps of this product are much higher, but don't accommodate for a smaller nose like mine, while the other one accommodates as the nose flaps aren't as high, so they conform to any nose shape.
I really like it because it provides excellent moisture barrier, keeps fog at bay, and provides comfort. Rather than blocking light, it lets more light in. The first thing I'd like to say is this The claim that this blocks light probably needs to be dropped. In terms of light leakage, the flaps don't actually do anything different from the existing nose groove they just extend a little further up the face and barely change the spatial footprint. As for me, it's fine. Since the moment I unboxed my Q2, I've been looking down my nose at the prospect of repurchasing Without having to take off a headset, I can locate myself in a room. Felt a little nervous because I was unable to check my bearings and could see whether I would cause any more damage to my surroundings. There are clearly a lot of people who bought this product with the expectation it would do this, so it's easy to understand their frustration. Having said that, the only thing I wanted from this silicone wrap was to be able to work up a sweat without feeling like I'd stepped in a puddle with socks on and then wore them for the rest of the day. When used in this way, it's perfect. As soon as the action slows down, you can wipe down the cushion, lenses, and your face with the tail of your shirt, and it'll be as good as new. You'll never have to let your unit take another drydown break if you repeat this process as needed. It is also no longer a problem that the cushion builds up a distinct scent when my friends play on it, which is great because my friends love The biggest surprise is the fact that the cushion keeps moisture from evaporating/retaining, which dramatically reduces fog buildup. My home is very humid, and I play outside in direct AC, so this is something I noticed immediately upon At the best of times, there was almost always a hint of fog creeping in (and on some nights it looked like trying to play Beat Saber after being pepper sprayed), and it would return immediately Since it stays gone for quite a while after wiping, it is easy to keep the lenses crystal clear at any time. I love it. The last remark I would like to make is the fact that it was easy to install and feels good Thought it would be uncomfortable to wear a rubber mask with my face exposed for hours, but it feels good, like a dive mask, and is cool to the touch when it's Even better than stock, I think I like this layout.
I find that this works fine most of the time, but sometimes the nose cover can be problematic. There is no blocking of light by the cover. It sits up too high in relation to the cover. The one you currently have is faulty, and I recommend that you buy a new.
The Quest 2 works out great. I got it as a gift for my wife and one week later realized it was a great workout device. It was time for a sweat solution after a week of sharing a soaked face cushion while watching Beat Saber, Thrill of the Fight and Supernatural. I found this silicon mask cover for the quest 2 to be very effective. I can now wipe down the cushion covers and keep my wife's face from breaking out because I can wipe them down so easily.
I found that the headset cover was easy to install, but after wearing it just a few minutes it became uncomfortable and slippery and made the headset difficult to keep.
The first thing I wanted to buy for my Quest 2 was the silicone face cover as soon as it arrived. It is common knowledge for anyone who has used the Quest before that the foam that comes with it, while comfortable, is not built to handle anything more than very light usage unless you're comfortable repeatedly using a sweat sponge. Foam is a real pain in the ass to clean, so a silicone cover is imperative. This one arrived very quickly and I am very happy with it. The process of attaching it is very simple It's easy to replace the cover by simply removing the frame that's attached to the visor, fitting it over it, and then snapping it back in place. As it snaps into place, the cover is held securely in place. Unlike covers for the original Oculus, which were attached straight to the device and stayed in place only by virtue of being designed Since the cover won't be coming off any time soon, it's definitely an upgrade from the covers for the original Oculus. Your Quest 2 will stay clean and fresh if you use this product If it is free (or at least if you can wipe it off easily after play), it is free to use. While it blocks most of the light, the nose part isn't perfect. But it is my understanding that an ideal nose covering is nearly impossible to find. To that end, once you start playing Quest 2, you don't even notice it. This product is highly recommended to anyone who plans to purchase a Quest 2.
It is true that silicone gets cold, but it aids in keeping sweat away from the foam. With any kind of sanitary wipe, it is easy to clean it and dry it off. that you can detect unless you sniff it directly, and even that smell is a very soft new smell as opposed to a chemical one. My stomach was relieved of the abrasive, rough, and irritating feeling from the quest 2 foam, and I stopped feeling uncomfortable from the moist absorption of the foam. It's a great product to temporarily replace the original quest 2 foam while waiting for the stock on other quest face foam replacements to arrive.
