The only thing that comes off is the top. You can, however, remove the entire thing if you so desire.
It should be able to withstand the test of time because the adhesive is quite strong.
It will if it is an otterbox with a plastic back rather than the silicone/rubber backs. Silicone, rubber, and super-textured plastic are not adhered to by the adhesive. I have an otterbox from the Lite Commuter series, which has a great grip.

Those who claim it doesn't hold up well didn't clean their phone case before using it. Simply wash or clean your phone case with alcohol, dry it, and stick it on. br>The adhesive is excellent, as is the sturdiness, and the hold!.
This was purchased by my daughter, and she claims that it is superior to the previous purchases she made. I still wish they made a thinner version, but that's just my opinion. My one should be as slim as possible. br>br>The adhesive is as expected, and we have had no problems with it. br>br>She likes the design. There are many options available to you.
I was also hesitant because of the card holder case I was wearing. However, I've been using the same pop socket for the past three months. It has never come off or broken in my experience. Excellent value for money. The design is shown in its entirety.

The graphics are of excellent quality. It's a lovely print that hasn't scratched or faded in the months I've had it on my iPhone. The rubber has proven to be extremely durable. I pop it several times a day and drive with the PopSocket car mount. There are no worries about it breaking, tearing, or falling off.
I liked this popsocket at first because it worked well with my phone case, but then I got a new phone case and things started to fall apart. I guess it'll be good and sticky as long as you don't want it anywhere else after the first stick, which was a pain and a half to pry off. The sticky was pulled up when I put it on my second case, and it won't stick properly, causing it to fall off. I'm devastated because I've only had it for a few weeks.
I was skeptical that the adhesive would hold up to the weight of a tablet rather than a small cell phone, but it does! This ingenious little creature provides me with a much more secure grip on my tablet, which is a huge help to my arthritic hands.
