Sorry, I don't have a Galaxy S20, but I do have a large iPhone 10Pro that I use. The stand can be adjusted indefinitely and will remain in place for up to two years. It has a cupped lip that is split so you can charge your phone while it's in the stand, and it has a gripper bottom so it won't slide around. It won't fall over easily, but if you have cats on the table/desk, you'll want to keep the center of gravity low. br>br>I would strongly suggest this product.
I didn't put it through a weighing process.
The quality is good.
I'm not sure how big an iPhone 12 is, but mine has plenty of room for my 8-inch tablet and my Samsung A715G phone. I like that I can fold it up and put it in my laptop bag if I go on a trip.

For my iPhone XR, I bought one of these. It worked out so well that I decided to buy three more. The new ones have a different design that makes it difficult to do anything other than hold the phone. The phone's stand rocks back and forth when you swipe or tap on the top third of the screen. On the left, you can see the original one I received, and on the right, you can see the newer version. While the stand may work for smaller phones, the new version is much more upright, and the area where the phone sits is much too small for it to work with larger phones. In this case, geometry does play a role.
So, first and foremost - I was given a complimentary unit to try out and write this review on. I wasn't sure if I'd like the unit because I've never seen a use for one, but it was free, so I figured I'd give it a shot and see what I thought. br>br>The unit is heavier and more durable than I had anticipated, and the hinges are a little stiff - This is a positive development. I don't think the hinges on this unit will become loose, requiring it to be readjusted on a regular basis. The anti- Slid grips have a lot of power as well. On a steep incline, the unit does a good job of staying in place, but I mostly like that it protects my easily scratched countertops. br>br>My main use for this has been at work, where I placed it in just the right spot so that whenever I need to use FaceID on my iPhone to authenticate with Microsoft 365 (which is frequently), all I have to do is glance over at the phone and tap the screen to wake it up. It's also helped me FaceTime my wife and twin toddlers while I'm working, so I don't have to stop what I'm doing to hold my phone, whereas before I had to stop and put down what I was working on to hold my phone, or she had to stare at the ceiling (probably equally interesting). br>br>I may actually bring this home (or buy a second one) to use in the kitchen because my wife and I have all of our recipes digitally stored in a cookbook app on our phones, and it would be much easier to have the phone propped up so we could read the recipe without touching the phone with dirty hands. br>br>At some point, I'd like to see one with an integrated wireless charger - If that's the case, I'll purchase one for my home office.
br> It appears to be very sturdy, and it fits my Samsung Galaxy phone with a thick case (one with a built-in credit/cash slot as well as a popsocket). That's what I was going for, and many other stands can't match it. It's convenient that it folds up so I can take it with me. I just wish I had a purse these days because I'm going to need a bag for all of my phone accessories soon. I had previously purchased one that did not fold and used it on my nightstand because I have fur babies who rarely tip it over. This appears to be a good fit for my 7 and 8-inch tablets. This is an excellent device. It also arrived on time and as expected.
The stand is firm, stiff (in a good way), and sturdy. br>It also folds up into a small package. The stand can be adjusted in a variety of ways. It's only been a week since I got it, but it already feels very solid. I expect it to keep its shape and angles for a long time. Even a tablet's weight isn't an issue. The stand, however, will only support tablets in a more vertical position due to the lack of a tall backing to prevent tablets from falling backward; after all, it is designed for cellphones; I was just curious if it would work for larger devices. Yes, it is possible. It has grippy foot pads and phone back pads. br>br> br>br>My wife enjoys using it in the kitchen because it gives her a variety of options for viewing her phone, depending on what she's doing or the time of day and lighting to avoid screen glare. There were more options than the teeny-tiny stand that came with her cellphone case.
Definitely a worthwhile purchase, as it is extremely durable and ships with a warranty scan. I don't have an iPad, but I'm pretty sure it'll work just fine. br>It has little rubbers on the bottom for non-slip as well as rubbers where the phone rests to prevent it from rubbing/ scraping against. br>I have a heavy duty otter case on my phone and it is wide enough for it, (which is my main problem with things like these)br>It is adjustable in two spots, which is handy. When I'm cooking or listening to podcasts, I like to use this in the kitchen. (A shout out to YMH! ) It's also easily foldable so you can take it with you on the go. br>The only issue is that I need to purchase another one so that I am not forced to share it with my boyfriend.
Note: I've been thinking about getting a phone stand because there are several times when I need to look at my phone to check for messages while on other calls/meetings. br>br>I've been thinking about getting a phone stand because there are several times when I need to look at my phone to check for messages while on other calls/meetings. br>br>I've been using it for a few weeks and it's been great. It's small and light, but it's heavy enough to keep my phone from sliding around on a desk. br>I'm thinking about getting another one because I work in two places and it's all too often in the other one because I move it back and forth. br>br>I've primarily used it to hold my Pixel 4 XL, and it's performed admirably. I also tried it with my iPad, and it worked perfectly. However, because my iPad has a case with a cover, I had to position it in specific directions so that the cover didn't interfere with the iPad fitting into the slot. br>br>The stand does fold, so if you need to take it with you in a bag, you can do so easily. I don't usually fold and unfold it, but the hinges/support are nice and tight and keep my device in place. The one thing I'm curious about is whether the hinges will loosen up over time, but that doesn't seem to be an issue right now, and I haven't seen anything that suggests it will be. br>br>Overall, it appears to have a similar overall design to several other phone holders and is less expensive, so I believe OMOTION has done an excellent job on this product. I've used their screen protectors on several phones and found them to be excellent products at a great value, and this stand appears to be the same. It is an excellent product. br>br>.
