So, the first time I looked at this, I didn't notice the details, but I did notice the phrase "I love you more" on the top portion. It's something my father used to say to my mother and me (who passed away several years ago). I didn't notice the section at the bottom with a lengthy paragraph geared toward a dating or married relationship rather than a parent-child relationship. I'll admit that the paragraph was difficult to read; it was, in my opinion, far too long a diatribe for the space available. Being carved in, it doesn't stand out very much, and there isn't enough contrast in the wood to notice it. In the end, rather than returning it, I devised a novel solution. (Pictured) So the point I'm trying to make in a long winded way is to READ THE DESCRIPTIONS AND LOOK AT ALL THE PICTURES. 😁.

Ebony wood was used to make the stand. It appears to be lovely and sophisticated. I gave this to my husband as a gift for our wedding anniversary. Now he has a central location to keep track of his personal belongings. AWESOME! I adore the engravings, and they have a profound effect on him. For us, this is a wonderful love note!

So there's the ring-holding stick. Yeah, that didn't come, and it clearly has the hole for the ring holder, and we recently got expensive rings and didn't want to lose them, so this was going to be perfect, and it didn't come in the package. I looked all over the box and zip lock bag it came in, and it wasn't there. NOTHING. Furthermore, the phone charging space where you plug the phone in isn't long or tall enough to accommodate large chargers. BUT, aside from that, everything is fine. I was just disappointed that it didn't come with everything I needed. The wood is of good quality, but the engraving is barely visible in person, and it isn't nearly as large as it appears in the photo; the words are much smaller. I suppose if you have a small charger that isn't for an Android/Google/Samsung phone, it has to be very small or it won't fit. The lack of a ring holder is my biggest disappointment. when there was clearly supposed to be one with it based on the hole to hang the rings from.

It turned out to be a thoughtful present. It appeals to him a lot. He thought it was a box he ordered from Amazon when he opened it early as a Christmas present. Because it was in two pieces, he had trouble figuring out what it was. But, because it was engraved with words he only knew from his father and mother, he called, and we told him what it was. After that, he observed how the two pieces interlock. Having everything in one place appealed to him, and being able to hang his glasses on it was an added bonus. It's well-made, with nice engraving, and it was a huge hit with everyone! 😊.

My husband suffers from a traumatic brain injury and is prone to losing his keys, glasses, and wallet. So I got him this, which gives him a regular place to put all of his belongings and is conveniently located next to our bed. It's a big hit with him. br> His only gripe is that it doesn't have a dedicated charging port for his Galaxy Active (watch). He gets by by simply hanging it, but when our cats go crazy at night (which happens frequently), they hit the table/stand, which causes the magnetic charger to fall out. I honestly would have paid more if a small placeholder for the watch charger had been added. br> On the whole, it's lovely and of good quality. It can handle three rambunctious cats and two overeager toddlers, so it's definitely tough. "I like it," my husband said, and I quote. So there you have it, gentlemen: he approves. For our fifth wedding anniversary, this was the ideal wooden gift.

For my bedside end table, I wanted something like this. I told my wife, and she gave me an order. I had no idea, however, that it could be customized. I was surprised to find a message laser engraved by my children when I received it. The message was short and to the point. This item comes apart easily and lays flat, so I've taken it on several business trips with me because you never know what kind of charging accommodations you'll have. This is a really nice item that I expect to have for a long time.
