For cell phones that float from desk to bed to couch to purse, the old adage "everything in its place" didn't apply. When my phone is not in my hand, it now has a distinct location. I appreciate having a place to put it when it is not in use. I like that it's metallic pink and that it has a rubber pad on the bottom to keep it from scratching your table and a rubber pad in the middle to keep it from scratching your phone. It's also at the perfect angle for watching videos. I'd buy it again and might buy one for my desk and nightstand.
For an iPad, it's too small, and for an iPhone, it's too flimsy. The materials are so thin now, and the angles of the stand make it very unstable, that engineering has taken a back seat to cost. I wished I could have gotten the same type as I did earlier this year. The same way that toilet paper rolls are becoming narrower. Bait and switch is a technique used by con artists. Bring the good stuff back!.
I bought this phone stand to replace one I had previously purchased. This brand has a larger base to prevent it from tipping over, and I like that the front part is open so I can easily place my phone on it, whether it is charging or not. The color is a perfect pink that is very pretty. This appears to be a long-lasting phone stand!.
I would not recommend this product. br>br>Can it hold a phone with a screen size of 7 plus? Yes. Is it able to stand on its own? Yes. Is it portable? br>Does it have a small footprint? Yes, it's nearly too light. br>br>The biggest problem was when I tried to get my phone to look at it in the middle of the night. I'd have to turn on my bedroom light to pick up the stand every time it fell. It became a source of annoyance and frustration. I considered giving it away, but instead of using it to keep my phone upright on my nightstand, I now use it when I need to balance my phone on something while watching a video or making a video call. That's why I gave it a 3 out of 5 star rating. I believe that if this stand has a heavy bottom, it will be less likely to fall over. It's a teeny-tiny display.
It also has small gripping parts where the phone sets to prevent it from sliding off.
For what I require, this is the ideal small stand. My 6-year-old granddaughter likes to borrow my phone from time to time while eating breakfast at the table, which keeps her hands free and my phone clean. It's not only light, but it's also got four little rubber dots on the bottom to keep it from moving around. The rose good color, which matches my phone, is a big plus. I like it so much that I'm ordering a second one for upstairs so I don't have to carry it with me every time I leave downstairs to go upstairs.
I wish the angle could be adjusted, but I suppose that's why this item is less expensive than the one that is clearly marked as adjustable. br>br>I'm keeping it because it's sturdy, and I like that I can put it on the stand and charge it at the same time because there's a space at the bottom where you can plug your phone in to charge it. br>br>I've noticed that having it on the stand makes it a lot easier to find than if it's just lying around. When I'm on speaker phone, it's easier for people to understand me than when I'm holding the phone in my hand. br>br>I enjoy FaceTime calls and speaker calls with it on the stand; it's easier for people to understand me when I'm on speaker phone when it's on the stand compared to when I'm holding the phone in my hand.
The only drawback (which isn't all that significant) is that I wish it were collapsible/foldable so that I could easily transport it to work and possibly other locations. Who knows, maybe you'll want to bring it to a four-hour lunch meeting. Also, not everyone has their own office/desk at work, so you won't be able to leave it there and have a separate one for work and home. But, again, that is the only drawback, and it is exactly what I was looking for. Oh, and maybe some cute designs will appear in the future to make it even better! My last holder was a pair of adorable hands that held the phone, but it didn't have a stand, so viewing it wasn't as enjoyable. There are other cute designs that have the same "fun" factor as this one but aren't as functional: I'd help you promote it and sell it for free if you added some cuteness to it, such as a wide, sturdy base, rubber bottom, and so on.
