A quick glance at this product reveals it to be both appealing and favored by many customers. Because the OEM (Apple) charger comes with a cable that I am worried I will lose or damage in my bag, I appreciate its compact form. It adds a tasteful touch to the bag to have the 'leather' tag hanging off the end. Due to its lack of redeeming features based on its function, this device is sadly not up to par. Whenever it charges, it takes a long time. That is an inordinately slow pace that makes me seethe with rage. This charger seems to have issues with heat dissipation and will charge Apple Watches at approximately 10% per hour even though they don't let out too much power in the beginning. As soon as I think of a 'travel charger', I'm not planning on leaving it on the device as I go to bed. If I had a regular charger, I would have brought it. When you have an hour waiting in a terminal until your flight is due to depart, and your watch is showing low battery, use this (in your head). There is no way I can use this product. The OEM charger is now what I always pack, and I am much happier about.

With all the wires in charging cables, I was always a problem to carry, but this one at least solves one of the problems. With this small charging cable, I don't have to carry the long wire. I love how easy it is to carry and how fast the charger charges. Despite the fact that it doesn't heat up, the charger remains cool. Unlike and after market charger that gets hot when trying to charge, this one stays cool when using the laptop to do the charging. Powered by a USB port and can be used with a power bank.

The build quality is impressive and the design is attractive. It surprised me with the weight and sturdiness of its feel. I appreciate the clever and sturdy rubbery stretchy cap that doubles as a portable stand when positioned vertically. The watch charger acts as a battery also, so it is more convenient to carry around than a cable version. The convenience of just plugging in this to my laptop and having my watch charge at my fingertips is amazing, since there is no tangle of cables to get in the way.

It worked for a short time, but it no longer works. It occupies the same physical space as the Apple Watch 4. There are a lot of cords for Apple products. Initially, I was considering charge pucks, but I hoped for something that would be a little more convenient. When plugged into a compatible USB outlet, the device appears to begin charging. As soon as the watch has been charged, it cuts off. Tested a number of different USB ports with different ratings for my device. It results in the same outcome. This is not a thing you can depend on. They informed me that a new batch of products is being manufactured to a higher standard. As a reward for fair reviews, they promised to replace your unit. There will be a new batch when it is released. By doing this, they demonstrate their attentiveness to the customer feedback and their readiness to resolve issues. Several months to go and then I'll let you know when the new unit comes in.

Taking this on a trip and being able to charge my watch while I am out and about was my original plan. In my mind, I had assumed that it was a chargeable thing that I would be able to use The case turns out to be different from what I originally thought. There's no way around it, you've got to plug it in. It should be possible to plug a laptop into a socket, as the instructions state. I don't have a USB port on my iPad. As a result, I will need a power bank, and if I do that, I think a charger with a cord is more useful than having to have this "portable" device anchored to the power bank or to the little cube that plugs A backup charger, similar to the one that came with the watch, is on my wish list.

Only thing I don't like about the device is the orientation makes it hard to balance the watch to ensure that it gets properly In order to ensure that the face remains horizontal regardless of how the USB port is oriented, the device must have the ability to rotate.
