I purchased two of these and had the same problem with both of them. People on the other end of the line claimed to hear their own voice repeating itself. I had to stop wearing the headset because it was causing me a great deal of discomfort. Disappointed to the point of frustration.
As long as the phone is equipped with Bluetooth, you're good to go.

I've probably owned every Plantronics bluetooth earpiece since they first came out. For over $100, I recently purchased the most up-to-date PLT 5200 with charging case. Many people said I was speaking in a barrel because they couldn't hear me. I still used it, though, because of the low price. I misplaced that earpiece last week and couldn't justify spending $100 on a replacement, especially given my current problems. I saw this Fimitech earpiece online and it had a lot of positive feedback. I was drawn to the fact that it lacked a Mic Boom and decided to give it a shot. I've had it for a while now, and no one has ever complained about not being able to hear me. My only gripe: br>br> When a call comes in, the Caller ID feature announces the phone number calling into my phone rather than the person who is on the other end of the line. But that's not a problem because I can just look at my phone to see who's calling. Last but not least: br>br> I scratched the "scratch off" to reveal a prize in my package just for fun, and it said I won the "FIRST PRIZE," which was a second headset. I dismissed it as nonsense, but I followed the instructions on the card and emailed Fimitech. "Christina" promptly responded to my email, verified my shipping address, and promptly shipped me a brand new additional bluetooth earpiece at NO COST (including shipping). This one is also a hit with my wife (who recently ditched her Plantronics). br>br>I've had this earpiece for a few weeks now, and I'm really enjoying it. The quality for the price is unbeatable, and the customer service is second to none. BRAVO!.
Because our state has mandated that phones be used hands-free, I've recently purchased a few of these bluetooth headsets. Because I work as a truck driver, I am constantly exposed to loud noises. This headset has a lot of volume, which makes it easy to hear people over my truck's rumble. It is extremely comfortable to wear around the ear, and the right earpiece is so comfortable that you will forget it is there. I really like how slim it is and how well it fits behind my ear. The bad: Because of the way it fits behind the ear, I believe the microphone is a little further away and has trouble picking up my voice in a louder environment. Background noise has been noted by people on the other end of my calls, and it has been mentioned during our conversations. If you're in a noisy environment, I wouldn't recommend this headset for that reason alone. It would be ideal for a headset in a quieter environment. The Icomtofit is another of my headsets, and it works well in noisy environments. This one will most likely stay in my car, while the other will go into my work truck.
SOUND: br>br>SOUND: br>br>SOUND: br>br>SO I ran several tests, including an outside walking test in New York City, a subway test, and an in-office test, and the sound quality remained unchanged. I was clear, and I didn't even sound like I was wearing a headset, according to the person on the other end of the line. DESIGN: BR>BR>DESIGN: BR>DESIGN: BR>DESIGN: BR>DESI My initial impression was that it resembled a futuristic hearing aid. I assumed the other person would not be able to hear what I was saying. My assumptions were proven to be incorrect. BR>BR>WEIGHT: BR>BR>WEIGHT: BR>WEIGHT: BR>WEIGHT: BR> It's a breeze to carry! I would prefer something a little heavier, and I was going to dock one star for it, but then I realized that the weight was a personal preference, not a design flaw. OVERALL: br>br> br>It was well worth it! That's all there is to it.
I've only had it for a little over a week, so I can't comment on its durability, but for the price, I think it's a great conference call tool. For years, I've used silver earpieces, and this one has a similar sound and a competitive mic. I don't listen to music on it because I have headphones. At my desk, I use this to make the majority of my phone calls. Advantages: br>br> It doesn't sound like you're in a tin can, does it? br>On GoTo or regular phone calls, no one has had any trouble hearing me. br>Comfortable, with several rubber ear inserts included, but I only used the one that came with it when it arrived. br>Easy to transport: Perhaps you're a little too light? br>Battery: I'm not sure how long it will last, but it has easily lasted more than 4 hours. I use it a lot at my desk, so I'm not sure what the actual limit is. When I turn it on, it pairs within 2 seconds. br>br>I'd also say that the seller's communication has been fantastic; they wrote to check in on how things were going and were extremely pleasant. br>br>Cons: br>When I turn on the device, the volume defaults to a level that is louder than I prefer, but it is easily reduced using the phone. br>It doesn't charge in the case, so you have to plug it in; this isn't a big deal, but it would be nice if the case doubled as a charge bank like so many others.
I received this unit yesterday and have been very pleased with it after about 7 hours of use. It connected to my iPhone as well as my TV's Bluetooth transmitter almost instantly. I was able to put it to the test while listening to music on my iPhone and checking for incoming calls. Without a hitch, everything went swimmingly. My wife isn't a fan of Bluetooth headsets because of the boom that runs along the cheek, but she wants this one because the controls are easy to find and it hides behind the ear. - Do you want to be comfortable? I had it on my ear the whole time and didn't even notice it. Even though I wear glasses, the headset stayed in my ear very well. According to the instructions, I should be able to play the next song from the headset, but I was unable to do so. I'll have to get in touch with their customer service for more information on how to use this feature. Ironically, there was a $75 headset on the same page where I bought this one for a third of the price - I'm getting the same results as you are.
