The unit itself is installed inside the cabin and connects to a 12 volt outlet. The antena is installed on the roof of the building. For it to work properly, it must be placed on a metal surface. The plate was attached to the surface of my motorhome with heavy-duty exterior velcro. The thin wire was then inserted through the driver's side window, and it worked flawlessly for the past year, despite numerous rainstorms and travels. The bottom of the antena has a powerful magnet, which allows it to attach to the metal plate. I used a 10-inch square plate for this project. I hope you find this information useful.
Thank you for contacting us with your inquiry! br>As long as there are no other people in the vehicle with you, this product will prevent other people from using the booster. This is a multi-level marketing campaign. However, depending on the signal strength outside, product setup, and other factors, the range inside the vehicle will be limited. If someone is able to use it, it will not cause you to slow down because the signal is not generated by the booster, but rather by improving the connection outside. The only restrictions are the towers themselves, which are present in the area. br>If you have any additional questions, please contact us at 866- 294- 1660, or you can reach out to us via the internet at: Wilson Electronics' customer service email address is [email protected]. Thank you for contacting us with your inquiry! br>On the amplifier, the outside antenna is an SMA Male and the inside antenna is an SMA Female. The antenna's connector is SMA Female without an adapter, but it includes a SMA Male to SMA Male adapter to allow the coax cable to pass through the mounting hardware. br>If there's anything else we can do, please contact our customer service department at 866- 294- 1660, or send an email to [email protected]. It boosts the signal in the same way that a repeater on a tower does, but on a much smaller scale. If AT is the case, I don't see why not. T, Verizon, and other similar companies are also available in other countries.

If you're going to mount it where the wind will be blowing hard and you'll be using all of the mast extensions, don't use the spring. Also, don't use the thread locker on the mast until you've driven it for a few days and are confident in your installation! And please, for the love of God, follow the instructions! My installation is neat and tidy, and it did not necessitate any permanent truck modifications. I had hoped for a little more improvement in signal strength than I got, but it did improve by 5-fold. I noticed a noticeable increase in internet speed after lowering the volume to 8 dB. If you want to know if it's working, don't look at the signal bars. Check your signal strength with the booster turned off and then on by going into your settings. Also, make sure you're within a few feet of the inside antenna, with nothing in the way of the signal! If the inside antenna has too much range, the system will loop back. It is what it is, and it is the best technology and fcc regulations that the industry has to offer. It has nothing to do with the product or the manufacturer if it does not work for you!.
I'm not sure what the people who haven't had success with this product are doing incorrectly. I bought this product because I was driving from Corpus Christi to Odessa and needed something to keep me company. For five hours, I was on my phone and I was on the internet. I was worried because I wouldn't be able to use my phone at all. So, after seeing it all over west Texas on cars and trucks, I decided to give it a shot. I absolutely love this product; I had reception the entire time on my drive back to Corpus! I now have AT&T! T Mobile's service and product are excellent, but AT&T's coverage is inadequate. T outperforms T- by a wide margin. This product is also mobile, and it's a one-time purchase, which I appreciate. You don't have to pay a monthly fee or connect a device, so I can use it on my truck, my husband's truck, our boat, and our RV. It boosts our signal out on the water, where we wouldn't normally have one, and down the beach, where you wouldn't normally have service; I tell everyone about it! I can't say enough nice things about you. To those who left negative reviews, I can only say that you either don't know how to install the product correctly or aren't using it properly. It's true that just because you don't see more bars on your phone doesn't mean your signal hasn't been boosted. If the device has a green light on it and is plugged into power, it is operational.
I work as a truck driver, and I travel across the United States. I was looking for a way to increase the strength of my cell and data signals. The WeBoost DRIVE 4G-LTE is a 4G-LTE device, according to reviews. This booster did nothing to increase my signal that I could see, so X OTR was the best option. WeBoost offered to send replacement parts after I contacted them. The issue is that I paid $200 to have the system installed in my Semi, and now I'd have to pay another $200 to remove and replace a product that may or may not work? I called AMAZON and informed them that I am returning the product because neither AMAZON nor WeBoost will reimburse my expenses! I would not recommend buying this product based on my personal experience.
In the last 25 years, we've had four Wilson Boosters. They were always reliable, and we enjoyed using them. Unfortunately, it does not appear to be of any assistance. We contacted Wilson after our old one failed (after 5 or 6 years). They claimed that as cell phone companies change their frequencies, the booster will no longer work with the new ones. As a result, we went out and bought a new machine. It wasn't of any use. Not in the least, and we're disappointed because we travel for work and constantly lose signal strength.
I bought the wrong one, the one that was sold on the side of the road. First and foremost, it is simple to set up, but $500. ONLY ONE CELL PHONE WILL BE COVERED FOR 00! YES, BUT NOT RIGHT NOW. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION PRIOR TO DOING SO. AND YOU CAN'T SHARE WITH YOUR PASSENGERS FOR $500 TO BUT? Certainly not right now.
Way more. This was purchased to extend the cell range of an incoming cellular signal from a WiFi hotspot that was obviously mounted to a truck. I used it for about a month with the cellular antenna fully mounted and extended outside where my regular antenna would go, and the transmitter mounted on my dash a few feet away from other items such as my phone and WiFi Hotspot. After some trial and error, I discovered that it did improve the signal strength of my cellular devices, but only when they were inches away from the receiver. I'm not a fan.
I discovered the antenna head was loose about a week later. I sent an email to tech support, and they promptly sent me a replacement antenna! I travel frequently and have taken this item from the west coast to the east coast and back. I would strongly advise getting a weboost, especially if you rely on good, reliable cell service while traveling! This weboost product was used in conjunction with T-Mobile. I was on the move as I drove down the I-95. I-10 eastbound and I-95 westbound Returning west on Highway 40 is one of my best travel investments!.
