I can't use the cell phone signal booster 4G LTE I bought with my 3G mobile phone. You must plug it into 120V house current to use it, and I only use it It can be used in a car, but you would have to buy a converter to go from the 12 volts of the car to 120 volts of the house, and you would have to purchase a different antenna from
Mobile frequency bands and your mobile service provider determine whether this item will work on any model of mobile phone, so before you purchase it, please confirm your mobile service provider and your mobile frequency bands. A San Diego RV park is where I am currently staying. The internet connection was only good for 1 bar at a time, and I It is about 6 feet above the roofline of my RV. I purchased a Verizon Cell Booster and attached it to it. Since then, I have never dropped a call and my bars are always 5 now. Despite this, there are two points that are important The first thing to remember is that this will not increase the signal when the signal doesn't exist. If you have no bars, it will not The second aspect is that this seems to be a directional exercise. In order to find the correct direction for a cell tower, you need to experiment. One thing led to another, and I figured out the flagpole had rotated in a new As soon as I turned it back towards where I got the strongest signal, I had 5 bars again. For a price that is quite reasonable, it works very well.

We live in a densely forested environment, so this device is very useful. I was able to send the occasional text from one of the areas inside the house where I had a bar. It has been very frustrating not to have internet access. Based on mixed reviews, I took a chance on these after looking at them for years. The fact that I didn't take the risk years ago makes me so mad. Throughout the house, we now have four bars. Thanks to a HDMI converter, I can watch Amazon Prime and Netflix whenever I want. It's really exciting and impresses me that this signal booster is so powerful.
A small town off the Midcoast of Maine is nice to live in, but the cell phone coverage is bad. Verizon is just about the only one I can get where I am and I am able to maintain one bar downstairs and two As a result, if I wanted to call or receive a call, I would have to go upstairs since the phone line downstairs would frequently break. My house initially had 3 bars upstairs (sometimes it would break up a little)
After installing the booster, I have 4 – 5 bars in all areas except one. As I had hoped for, I am able to talk on the phone with crystal clarity while sitting in my living room or walking from room to room. It is also very fast and reliable for sending my MMS messages, I used to have to hold my phone by the window with my MMS message and wait for it to send before it was sent, but that is no longer the case. There is no way to place the antenna at least 39 feet away from the amplifier with the 50 feet of cable provided when you account for cable routing since it must be placed at least 39 feet away from it. In the instructions, it specifies a minimum distance between the antenna and amplifier of 39 feet.
I bought it for my mother's house which is several miles away from Verizon towers. Throughout the call, she had problems with the quality of the call It is critical (as outlined in the instruction manual) to use an app to determine where your nearest tower is, and to point the antenna that way. Signal strength was 24 before installation and was 68 after installation, according to a signal test. Since installing these drivers, my Android phone has gone from 3G to LTE 4 bars. The bars of her iPhone went from none to full after she installed the app. There is one thing that is most important Her phone calls have become crystal clear and she has not experienced any dropped calls since the installation.
Although we live on top of a hill, just 15 miles from Nashville, TN, due to the terrain, it was nearly useless because of the terrain. Before the booster was installed, we dropped cell phone calls, and we continue to lose calls after it was installed correctly. The "LTE Discovery App" (technical) and "Network Cell Info Lite" (straightforward) are both tools I used to make sure the booster worked and was functional. The signal strength was changed from about 119 dBm (which is practically nothing) to around 105 dBm, which is a significant improvement, but not enough so that frequent drops were not experienced.
I am confident that the booster would have worked in a good area with higher signal strength, but we were not able to take advantage of it. Despite the fact that we are getting strong signals, they are often (We have to use Hughes Net to access the internet. This particular address is not covered by any other provider. Hence, if you are in an extremely dead spot, 400' from the road, and you are dependent on satellite internet and have one bar or less on your phone due to an unstable signal, this may not be the best option signal or make an unstable signal.
There is band 13 and it's installed at a spot where my phone has two lines of LTE service and yes, it's a band 13 installation. Once I plugged it in at another location, I saw flames shooting out of the power pack and smoke rising from the unit. It is a blessing that the circuit tripped immediately and no further damage was caused, other than a smoke stain on the.
As a result, I initially gave the booster one star because the signal was low. As a result, I returned that brand and got a different one. This new one also gave the same result. I guess my riverside location shields the As a result, I have changed the rating from five stars to three stars to reflect the fact that I have no idea how well this booster will perform
ORIGINAL Make sure it is set up correctly. It was easy to follow the directions. It took 50 feet of cable to play out. Every aspect of life is connected. It raised my signal from one bar to two bars (around 110 decibels) to 107 decibels. If you hold the phone within a foot of the indoor antenna, the signal is slightly better. The item is being returned and a different brand will be bought.
This has been a great product if you want to use the device in the room that it is installed in. It was much more than two hours to install, and it took me a lot more effort than I was willing to put into it. I did not have enough cable to provide as much run as they requested, and I honestly expected this to be a five minute install with my expertise and tools. In the room with the device, you would definitely get four bars, but if you extend your reach beyond 30 feet, you might not get four bars.
As long as I had 3G connectivity, I had consistently been able to use my phone as a hotspot This is 4 bars long. It will be difficult for me to make a call with this setup. I am disappointed.
