Cell phones require less output power to send and receive a signal when the incoming signal is better. As a result, the required transmission power of mobile phones can be reduced significantly, lowering the amount of electromagnetic radiation exposure to the human body. At the same time, having a better signal reduces power consumption, which saves your battery and can extend the standby time of your phone by up to 2 hours.

Questions & Answers

What is the voltage of the power supply included in the package? I'm looking for one that has a 12 volt power supply. ?

The voltage is 12 volts one. 5amp. I cut the cord and connected the Amplifier plug directly to my camper's 12v system. It functions admirably. In the fuse box, I use a 2 amp blade fuse. The voltage on my 12v system varies between 11 and 12 volts. 7v to 13. So far, the amplifier has performed admirably at 4 volts.

Is this compatible with cellular phones sold to the general public? Is there a Gma signal?

That's correct. CC is my service provider, so I know how well it works.

Only wifi calling through my modem allows me to receive and make calls. I won't be able to make or receive phone calls if the power goes out. Will this booster be of assistance?

It won't work unless you have a backup power supply if you don't have power.

What is the maximum distance between the booster and the outside antenna? Is it also required to use cable or is it completely wireless?

It comes with a coax cable that is approximately 100 feet long. I wouldn't go much beyond the cable's length. There is no wireless connection between the antenna and the booster. The booster is wireless and can be placed anywhere in the house.

This is a fantastic boost
5/5

I've lived in my rural home for ten years and have never had a good signal inside. After doing some research, I decided to buy this product because the reviews were positive and it covered my local bands. It took some trial and error to get the antenna pointed correctly next to the indoor amp, but once I did, I was able to pull- There are 86 decibels in this room. I also have an LTE router that I've set to the best band and am consistently getting between 18 and 20 Mbps. 35 MBPS. I did replace the indoor antenna with a long-range Omni, which improved signal throughout my 2000-square-foot house. This booster comes highly recommended if you want excellent service at a fraction of the cost of others.

Our Cabin is in a very weak (Dead) cell area, so the product and tech support are excellent
5/5

We had a Weboost that provided some assistance but eventually stopped working. I could occasionally send a text from our deck, but I couldn't receive or send group texts or photos, and I couldn't even make a good phone call. We even purchased a new phone service that used a different network. I was curious about the maximum length of cable I could use after reading the instructions. I emailed tech and received a response within hours, and after determining the best location for a signal, I installed it on a mast on our roof's eave. 1 to 2 bars 4 bars. My texts go through immediately even with only two bars, and I can usually send and receive group texts and photos. I was ecstatic with how it helped us when we had so little signal after struggling for a few years. We were able to facetime with my grandson, which was a pleasant surprise. If you have a couple of bars, I believe your results will be even better; simply follow the installation instructions.

It works with any carrier, including AT&T
5/5

T progressed from 0 to 100. From a single bar to a total of four bars, there's something for everyone. Verizon increased its market share from 1% to 2%. From 2 to 4 bars, it's all up to you. We've had a couple of missed calls, but we've noticed a significant improvement since we installed it.

There are constant alarms, no matter how far away they are
3/5

I gave this product a lot of thought. In fact, I'm going to swap it out to see if my unit is defective, because that's the only explanation at this point. My house's corner was where I put the unit. The cable was then run to my laundry room, where I keep all of my electronics like this, which is about a 10-foot drop. From the drop, the run took about 35'. I drilled a hole in the wall, installed the unit, turned it on, and got multiple alarms. Fine. . I moved the antenna around, but the alarms continued to be received. Finally, I had to walk the length of the laundry room rebooting this unit in the hopes that no alarm would go off. After about 35 minutes of searching, I discovered one location that did not set off an alarm. I double-checked by unplugging and replugging the unit. I was safe because the lights had gone out. I mounted the unit to the wall, then the hard lines to the wall/ceiling to keep us from tripping over them. 3 ALARMS were activated after the unit was powered up. This is in EXACTLY the same location. I then went into my garage and drilled through. Every time I tried, I was greeted by an alarm. Keep in mind that the route to my garage included a 10' drop, a 40' straight shot, and an 8' leg. This is significantly more than their 30' distance on the same level, or their 12' drop and 20' distance between units. I went ahead and drilled a third hole in my brick. This time, I ran more cable through my basement drop ceilings and less cable outside. I was able to locate one location that did not cause an alarm to sound. What are you going to do now? The unit threw an alarm after it was power cycled twice. I gave up and began writing this review after filing a return for replacement with Amazon. Overall, I've spent more than 6 hours of my Saturday trying to get this unit to work. Isn't it possible that I should simply turn off the alarms? They're on bands that I'm not a fan of. AT is what I'm working with. T on the 17th band. Despite the alarms, the unit performs admirably in my test scenario. I'm in roaming mode if I'm inside my house (in the mountains), and I barely get a signal; sometimes there's no signal at all, and I have to go outside to make a phone call. I am able to connect to 4G LTE with this device. Inside my house, my connection will fluctuate between - and +. 90db to - 125 decibels (this is a 3,800 square foot home). Even if there is a - I can still send texts, make phone calls, and so on at 125db, so I'm hopeful that the unit will work for us, but the manual states that if the alarm light is flashing or solid, the unit must be turned off. As a result, it is currently unusable; however, if the new unit works, I will update my review. br>br>**UPDATE** I received a replacement item, which functioned properly. Due to the aggravation I experienced during the installation weekend, I've reduced my rating to three stars. But, so far, it's been fantastic. If at least one of your alarms is always on, the item is most likely defective and should be replaced.

This device is effective
5/5

No problems right out of the box; just connect the cable and position the outdoor antenna. Connect it to the power source. Siding made of aluminum. Downstairs, there is no reception at all. After plugging this in for three bars, there is no noticeable delay or signal issues.

This is an effective way to improve your cellphone signal throughout your home
5/5

It works perfectly. Our country property went from 0 to 100 in a matter of days. a cell signal bar to a cell signal bar to a cell signal bar to In our log cabin with high ceilings, there are four people in each room. We were even able to improve our service on our back patio. This is a product that I would strongly recommend.

After installing a metal roof, I needed a boost
5/5

My cabin's metal roof was installed last year. Inside my cabin, I was unable to make or receive calls or access the internet. My AT&T phone now has 3 or 4 bars in the majority of my cabin after I installed the booster. If you don't know where your carrier's cell tower is, it will take some time to figure out which way to point the antenna for the best signal. If you have a good signal outside of the cabin, it worked great getting my signal back inside and strengthening the outside signal.
