This is a good thing It does expand the screen without distortion, and the frame telescopes back to front to help you get the distances right for your phone (takes a little getting used to after you find the sweet spot). For watching movies in a dark room, it is great. There is one thing that is It is made to refract light, so if there is any other light in the room, it will interfere with the image. Additionally, it is much smaller than I anticipated. This is due to the sizing being like a television. It is only 11 inches across and only half that high so it wound up being a lot smaller than I anticipated. Using such a lens also makes it a bad choice for gaming since any targets located towards the corners of the screen will be blurred with the lens and become easy targets. Currently my favorite way to play is using my phone like a game boy with an XB control and a mount). br> (I'll game on any device, high end computer, tablet, phone, console, this is a poor choice for such applications. When all you have is your phone and a small apartment, it might be all you can do to watch movies on your phone. Due to its distortion, there aren't a lot of other applications for it.

As opposed to watching on my phone alone, this is not a very clear HD experience. It gave me a headache, and it was a little noisy. Since there were only 2 of us and you are unable to see the movies from an angle since you have to be in the center of it, you cannot see the movies from an angle. I was so disappointed that I couldn't see the show on the edge of the screen. The screen was not 14" but less than a bit. Despite the reasonable price, I had to return the item.

The idea is great but it really needs to be at a certain angle and the room has to be dark as well. My phone also keeps slipping out of the slot where they have to hold it in and the picture is kinda blurry so I can see the outline of my phone.

I love it. Buying two, one for me to set up at home and one for him to set up at work, my husband purchased two. I love how easy it is My favorite way of relaxing is to watch on my smartphone in the garage or bathtub. Having a small portable TV in the palm of my hand is now like having one in my pocket.
