An 1/4x20 threaded male stud is required to mount it. This is the standard tripod mount. It will not mount to the knuckle of an action camera mount unless it also
There are no fittings required for this tripod mount. It holds any smart phone from 2 to 6.5 inches. The 28" to 4" range. I apologize, but the width is only 1" wide, so don't worry
VideoMicro from Rode looks like this. Microphone with a shotgun. While it's not clear if the bigger brother VideoMic Go required a separate cable to convert TRS and TRRS signals, it did use a separate cable to do the job. This would also be the case here, I would think.
How big or small do you want your tripod to be?
Selected User Reviews For Ulanzi ST-03 Metal Smart Phone Tripod Mount with Cold Shoe Mount and Arca-Style Quick Release Plate for iPhone Xs Xs Max X 8 7 Plus Samsung,Cell Phone Tripod Holder Clip Adapter for Joby GorillaPod
As far as the mount is concerned, it's superb. Is the perfect size for holding a smartphone. An Arca Swiss tripod head will work perfectly with this adapter. There is only one complaint the cold shoe mount is blocked by the adjustment knob up top. The mic needs to be raised high enough to not be a problem. It isn't going to fit in the mount due to the adjustment screw blocking it from sliding in. The unit is not usable unless I either change my microphone or add another accessory to the hot shoe to raise my mic a bit so that it fits on the unit.
There's a lot of thought that went into its design and its functionality Since the clamp is well-made, the moving parts fit tightly and line up very nicely. This means the phone sits snugly inside when I close the clamp. When the clamp was initially moved up or down, the screw was very squeaky and not smooth, but as the clamp became more comfortable, it became smooth It only took one drop of oil to resolve that, and the movement is now There is one other aspect of the setup that isn't quite right (apart from the screw and guide rods being loose) which is that the bottom plate doesn't fit into the ball head as smoothly as my other Arca-style ball heads. Plates made of Swiss metal. The mounting plates that I have for DSLR bodies and lenses have a slightly narrower base than the plates that I have for the ball head (although the latter plates are more expensive). Ulanzi's base plate is wider than all the others I have, so I can't clamp it into the ball head's clamp from the top the way I've been doing it. In order to attach the ball head's clamp, I must insert the Ulanzi into the ball head's clamp, and then again because the Ulanzi fits into the space so tightly, there is not much room for the ball head's clamp. Due to the relatively low weight of a phone, and the fact that the clamping screw doesn't need a great deal of torque, this is not an issue. The clamping screws for the other plates are slightly narrower, so I can clamp the plate with a very tight fit by cranking down on the clamping screw. All in all, I'm very pleased with the item and recommend it to anyone who wants to use a phone on an Arca-style mount This Swiss ball head is made of bronze.
Since it folds up and fits into a pocket nicely, I absolutely love it! Although this set came with another one I bought, I'm a little sad that this one didn't come.
There's almost a good way to say it. This is without question one of the best Designed very cleverly, the 03 phone mount is a very well made and well-designed My favorite part of this program is the integration of the Arca plate profile, which is incredibly In contrast, the "patented cold shoe mount" on the top (while also very clever in concept) is poorly executed simply because the little swing-out rubber tire sticks out into the air. With its "hidden cold shoe," the arms betray a lack of warmth. Using a smartphone clamp is easy with these top picks There is not sufficient length to allow most cold shoe devices to be attached without interference from the clamp tightening knob of the mount. It is just not possible to properly secure your microphone or speed light if there isn't enough room. Surely it would be longer if it were a few millimeters longer. Please refer to the photo of the cold shoe mount if this is confusing If you look closely at the tilted mic mount, you will see that the tightening wheel of the mic will be in direct contact with the top knob of this product. Almost all I'm sorry about that. In the end, would I recommend this small product to others? Yes, primarily because it has a good concept and is constructed from metal that is strong and durable. It may be possible to mount your microphone in a different way.
The one I saw on this website had very good reviews around the internet when I was researching Arca Compatible mobile mounts. An appealing aspect of the design is its minimalistic nature and sturdy construction. I liked the packaging because it was simple and effective. It is a wonderful mount in terms of design. This metal case was simple to use, but efficient. It provided secure support for my iPhone 11 without failure. The compatibility with Arca Swiss quick release plates was very interesting to me, so I did some testing the moment I received it. I was able to mount it on both tripod ball head mounts I tested. In addition, the embedded show mount was also highly rated, but reviews were mixed. It is true that the lighter attachments such as LITRA portable lights (such as the LITRA portable light) will fit in there, but I would hesitate to add anything much bigger to the system. If you attach a long microphone there, I doubt that you will be able to trust it. This mount is ideal for my needs, so I am happy with it. Ideally, I wanted a mount capable of holding a small light above it so that I could face time with my family. You can accomplish your goals with this.
