The youtube video shows you step by step how to do it. You can use the tool to make it easy! Be careful when organizing your screws as they are all different sizes. I made a mistake when I opened the screen from the top side (should start from the bottom). It was the phone that turned on and was unable to turn off that made me worried. The screen on an iPhone 7 is my first time replacing it. This was something my teenage son did, so it is possible. Videos are the easiest thing to watch. I think it's great and can be used for so much more than just phone repairs. Screen is excellent.
It took me an hour to have the screen and battery replaced on an iPhone and put it back together and working. I'm technically proficient, but never took an iPhone apart. It was nice to have the screen protector added! Now that I have a brand new phone, I feel like I have a brand new phone.
