Glue is not needed. It sticks to the wall with the adhesive strip it comes with. Furthermore, I used double-sided tape that was stronger than those used in basic paper clips. I found it too thin to be sturdy, so I did not feel like it was very sturdy.

It can be done properly if done correctly. A crack in the back of the glass does not affect its waterproof properties, however.

The glass fits perfectly and matches. You need a lot more glue to stay on, otherwise it won't stick. Be aware that removing the glass will be incredibly tedious.

Seeing the glass from the side, you can see how much thicker it is. I had to add some Gorilla super glue to the top part of my iPhone 8 Plus because the pre-installed materials do not seem to keep any pressure. At the very beginning of this review, I said I liked the appearance of my iPhone and would recommend replacing this.
I have an iPhone 8 plus and this fits perfectly. This is an original product of high quality and exactly as advertised.
Thus it wouldn't make sense to try and replace just this glass and not the entire rear assembly unless you have a lot of experience doing it. However, it was only after I had overheated the battery that the dry ice came in, and both the battery and the wireless charging unit had been ruined. As far as the product goes this is a great product, but if you're really confident about your ability to utilize dry ice, which works great, just spend an extra 40 bucks or so and get the full rear assembly to make it easier.
It's a long process and mine was broken, so it's taking a bit more time. I will update once I have completed the replacement and see how it looks afterward. The replacement backing is almost identical to the one I have now other than it does not have cracks or chips lol If you have the patience watch a couple YouTube videos first so you understand what you're doing. Also, I have no prior experience in doing this other than the fact that I just replaced my front screen earlier today.
A glass manufactured by the original manufacturer. This item can be purchased with a variety of different options at such a low price. Please don't buy this one. I made the same mistake I did when I bought it. There is a slight protrusion on the glass that is not on the factory one, and it is brittle enough to crack at the slightest touch. It looks like you're carrying wafer cookies all the time in your pocket. You think you can overlook these issues, don't you? Well maybe that's the case, since you won't use your phone as much, compared with the original, because this screen has a darker and duller resolution. In terms of quality, this item is as good as the $10 ones you can get Don't waste your time on this one and keep looking.
Please note that Original looks great and is of great quality. I'd say that this product is far more durable than even the best on Amazon.
