What a waste of money! Because the first one kept falling off my phone case, I ordered a second one. It's been two weeks since the first one fell off, and the second one is still falling off. This isn't something you should buy! I was left to my own devices with the pop-up. The phone fell out of the socket between my fingers and onto the carpet (thank goodness I wasn't outside).
Adhesive sucks; it only lasted three weeks. I assumed I had received a faulty item and purchased two more, all of which had the same issue. They're of poor quality.
I tried it with a plain plastic hard case, but it didn't work. It will only be there for about 5 minutes at a time. This purchase has caused me a great deal of dissatisfaction. It was clearly a $14 squandering.
I used to have another brand that included small items that helped keep the circle connected. This is complete garbage, beautiful useless garbage! I can barely keep it in after 5 days, and I'm not rough with it or anything. I'm so annoyed because this isn't cheap, and I can't afford to buy a new one every month! I'm irritated, so go with a different brand!.
This pop-up was one of my favorites. socket. I liked how metallic it was, and how well it matched my phone case, making the entire ensemble very attractive. The pop-up is made of rose gold plastic. I didn't mind that the socket was scratched. What bothered me was that one edge of the rose gold part popped off of the white plastic/rubber part that adheres to your phone at some point. It was the end of the game for me! I tried everything I could but couldn't get the two pieces to fit back together, no matter how hard I tried. Standard popsockets (or at least the ones I've bought in the past) had these little hook things/slots that allowed the pieces to fit back together smoothly, but this one didn't. It's possible that my copy was faulty. But, as much as I adored this purchase while it was in working order, I would not buy it again.
I've purchased a variety of popsocket brands. I'll return to this one again and again. I'm the proud owner of a black. That I've changed on three different phones and it STILL sticks like a pro. br>br>Before, my wife had two separate pop sockets. After a few days, they'd all fallen off. This one is in rose gold, which I bought for her. I was not dissatisfied once again. Her phone case was stuck to her. and it is still going on without having to be concerned about it falling off while she's taking selfies.
It doesn't stick very well; it fell off twice and then wouldn't stick at all, so I had to superglue it on. Aside from that, once superglued, it's extremely useful.
I also tried it on the phone (by applying the other clear disk they provide if you're going to use it without a case on your phone back). Nothing seemed to work. The adhesive isn't up to snuff anymore. They're not using the same adhesive as they were a few years ago. the pop- My old socket still works great! I had to return this one.
