Product Description

PopGrip is made of 3D hand-polished metal with enamel accents.
Allows you to text with one hand, take better photos, and watch videos without having to take your hands off your phone.
Use with a PopSockets PopMount 2 for hands-free operation.
PopGrips work with the PopWallet, Otter Pop cases, PopPower Home Wireless Charger, and PopMount 2 products.
Sticks best to smooth hard plastic cases; works with iPhone 11; will not work with iPhone 11 Pro or iPhone 11 Pro Max without a case.

Questions & Answers

Is it possible to charge your phone on a wireless charging pad if the pop top is removed and only the base is left?

No, I doubt it. When I used a wireless charging pad, I found that the phone needed to be completely flat against it. To charge my phone, I had to take it out of my case.

Is it possible to use a magnet to hold this?

Yes!

I have a magnetic phone mount and need to get the magnet under the popsocket button, so can this kind be removed from the accordion part?

Yes, if I understand your query correctly. This is actually two pieces, so you can snap off the part with the planets, insert your magnet, and snap it back together.

Popsocket is very good
4/5

Flexible to a large extent. I really like this popsocket, but I've only had it for a month and it's already scratched. It's made me very angry, but it's been holding up well on my phone. My Samsung Galaxy Note 8 fits snugly in my Otter Box. I'm planning on switching cases soon, and I'm hoping to find a removable Popsocket so I can swap tops. br>Highly recommended; however, if you don't like scratches, this is not the game for you. br>4 stars because it was so easy to scratch, but I still like it!
Also: I recently purchased a CaseMate and wanted to keep my Popsocket, so I decided to take a risk and remove it from my Otterbox case and place it on the CaseMate. It clung to the case like glue and I had no trouble removing it.

I'M TIRED OF THIS F$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ edit, 1-
man
3/5

I was literally thinking about how my popsocket hasn't broken yet the other day. Perhaps I made a blunder. Perhaps popsockets are aware of their surroundings. Anyway, when I got home from work today, I discovered that it had vanished yet again. Is it possible that I'm the only one who has this problem? Perhaps my pocket is nothing more than a black hole that devours phone accessories? Is it possible that I've been afflicted? oh well. I returned to this page in order to place a second order. I'm not sure why I keep doing this to myself, but it's my favorite popsocket of all time, aside from the fact that it keeps breaking off. The metal has a nice solid feel in your hand and looks very nice. Finally, if you can live with the possibility of having to replace it every few months, I recommend it. EDIT 8- br>br> I made the decision to return every time one of these broke. I'm not sure why I'm still buying it. In my head, I keep telling myself that it was just a bad one, and that the next time will be different. It's been about a month since I got my new one. Adhesion has never been an issue for me. The fact that it is so simple to hold is fantastic. br>This time, it literally broke off the back of its mount while I was sleeping. I'm not going to be able to keep doing this. This thing isn't even in my pocket when I sleep. I'm not sure what happened, but I'm pretty sure I wasn't supposed to have a working popsocket. This time, I'm going to try to get the sunflower model and see how long it takes for it to break. Possibly, NASA is cursed. br>br>original review: I bought this popsocket for the second time. It broke the first time I had it within a month of owning it, simply from carrying it in my pocket. It's been about two years, so I figured, why not give it another shot? Maybe the first time was a fluke, and the design is pleasing, so I'll probably order it again. br>br>This time, it broke after only two months of ownership. With my pop socket, I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary. I'm not going to hang it from balconies or tie strings to the back and swing it like a pendulum. I'm literally putting it in my pocket right now, with the back collapsed as it should be. For some reason, this thing likes to break off of the piece that connects to the stand, resulting in not only a ruined pop socket but also the need to purchase a new stand. GET OUT OF HERE WITH THIS THING. I'M TIRED OF IT.

It does not remain stuck for a long period of time
3/5

While this product was good, it was only good for a short time. I put it directly on my phone (iPhone 11 Pro) because I don't like cases and figured it would stick better, but the adhesive failed after a short time. Before contacting the seller, I researched some ways to improve it, but none of them worked. I attempted to contact the seller, but was told that I needed to contact Amazon instead. Do I really want to contact Amazon and file a complaint about a $15 product? No, I just wanted to see if there was anything I could do about the adhesive because I liked the design but the customer service was useless in resolving the problem. The only reason I gave it a two-star rating instead of a one is that it worked perfectly for the period of time it was used. I just wish the glue was a little more powerful.

It's just as good as it looks in the photos
5/5

This pop socket has been in my possession for about a month and it is absolutely stunning. The solar system theme is one of my favorites. The orbits and planets can be felt by running your finger across the surface. I use a plastic case and have no issues with adhesion. It appears to be genuine Popsocket and it is truly swappable, but I'll be keeping this design for a while.

Unlike anything I've ever seen before
5/5

I recently reviewed another PopSocket, the sassy shark version, and this will be very similar to that. The decorative pops are simple to install and replace. Nothing is done on purpose, and the design is absolutely stunning. At this point, I'm glad I bought two because I don't think the adhesive part is reusable, and I'd have to buy a new phone (and case). br>br>The only thing that could make this better, and I forgot to mention this in my review of the shark PopSocket, is if the metallic parts were made of some kind of metal. It would have felt so much nicer even if they were made of a very cheap metal, such as aluminum. This has the appearance of an enamel pin, but it is made of plastic, making it lighter and more breakable than it appears. Aside from that, this is fantastic.

I'm disappointed that there isn't a swappable pop socket here
5/5

This isn't something that can be swapped out. I'm not sure why it says that in the description, but it isn't true. The tops can be removed from either the rubber or this base in one of two ways. This fulfills neither of these requirements. Instead, I messed up and broke it. I'm going to replace it because it's so adorable and the material is so durable. I'm going to replace it because it's also 3D.

Great Quality and a Beautiful Design! I've never owned a metal popsocket before, but I absolutely adore it! It's more difficult than the previous ones, but I think I prefer it
5/5

The design of the solar system is also fantastic! br>br>August 2021 Update: This is still incredible! I've had it on my phone for about a year and it's still in great shape. There are a few minor scratches here and there from dropping it and such, but they aren't noticeable. It remains one of my favorites!.

PopSocket with a touch of class! PopSocket was my first experience with it
5/5

I've moved it around on my phone case three times because it's so attractive. After six months, the adhesive is still holding up beautifully with no signs of wear. The only drawback is that it does not support wireless charging, and your phone will no longer be able to sit flat when facing you.
