Only when the headset draws less than 150mA will the middle LED turn green. Check if you have turned off your headset before continuing. Unless this step is taken, the LED will remain orange because the headset draws more than 150mA when left idle.
The battery in the strap cannot be charged using this dock, and you need to unplug it (the extra battery) from the Oculus itself so that it can be plugged into the Unlike a wireless charger, this does not work through the air. It is obvious that this is not a very

Selected User Reviews For Anker Charging Dock for Oculus Quest 2, Oculus Certified Charging Station Stand Set, Headset Display Holder and Controller Mount Station with 2 Rechargeable Batteries, USB-C Charger and Cable
The following review is broken down into two parts - one with the Elite Strap and one without. 1) If you have the standard Quest 2 headset that comes with your purchase you have an amazing product. I love how compact the headset is, and I can keep the charge dongle in the headset so I can quickly charge it. I love the way the hand controller mods are easy to make and the color matching is perfect. Overall, it looks beautiful charging the phone. In this version of the Quest 2, I give the product five stars. 1) with the elite strap fitted + with a battery pack. So, I got the elite strap + battery pack a week after getting the charger base station like I said. As far as we know, the manufacture says that the elite strap works with this base product. The answer they give to freshly asked questions does not match the ones they used to give. During charging the elite strap battery, it must be plugged into the Quest 2 for it to be fully charged. You lose the option of using the little dongle that comes with the charging base the moment you do this. This would be an issue if that were the only problem. I would simply run a new usb c cable to the charger port on the back of the Thus, the both could be charged at once but the charge indicator led would be lost. With the strap connector attached to the quest 2, the headset is unable to fit into the charging base. The only ways to use the charging station are to not charge the headset with it or to charge the headset (by removing the elite strap connector from the strap) and then put the headset back onto the charger base while plugging the strap into the base and then plugged into the standard charger. As a consumer electronics product designer for over twenty years, I have developed many different products. I would have been able to solve this problem so easily. The charging base needs to have a cutout for the elite strap power connector so that the headset can be inserted into it. Also, you could add a second usb c port on the rear of the base charger so you could run a cable directly to the elite strap. It would still be able to have the charge indicator lights on the front as well as charge both at the same time. I really like this product, but you have to get an Elite strap to use it.
In contrast to the previous reviewer who claimed it wouldn't attach to a Quest 2 Elite Strap, it does attach without any problems. As his picture shows, it is not an Elite Strap for Quest II, instead he has no idea what he has even purchased. There is a Quest 2 Elite Strap with Battery Pack with him. That is a horse with a different color coat! In that case, this charger will not even work if you have the battery pack attached to the charging port. I have been able to keep the headset and controllers fully charged using this trick! Besides the color of the headset never flashing green, I may also have had an issue with it not showing green for 5 minutes, but after shutting down the headset, there were three green lights! It looks just like it should!.
and that the adaptor plates didn't fall on the controllers. There may be a drawback in the fact that you cannot dock aftermarket rubber grips on your controllers, but I won't count that against the rating since I don't think it is reasonable to expect the dock to accommodate the shape of arbitrary third-party grips.
I contacted customer service, who explained that this may be an anomaly, but the rechargeable batteries got so hot that they burned to the touch while charging. It may be a very difficult time for them It seems that the sensors and components in my controllers were damaged That's what I hope doesn't happen. A further minor flaw is that the battery covers on the custom controllers are spring-loaded The controller pressurizes against the custom batteries, and this gap between the cover and battery leads to a faulty installation. Normally, something worth $90 should not fail like this. Furthermore, the metal contacts on the changing base rub and scratch the stock battery cover if you use regular AA batteries and don't use rechargeable batteries (probably a wise move considering the overheating). There's no way to win this. I've updated to It is the same exact issue with the replacement unit. I am eager to try another one of their next batches.
My favorite aspect of this headset is that I can place it into the docking station conveniently located on my desk so I can check Due to (1) the fact that it does not work properly in a power strip, I rated it four stars instead of five. It had to be plugged directly into a wall socket and I had to find an outlet. (1) placing the controllers to line up with the battery nodes requires a bit of trial and error. my original contact with the manufacturer was prompted by the blinking lights on the controllers that failed to There was a possibility the table was out of level or the product was defective. From now on, I know to keep the controllers from charging and to turn off the lights until the battery level within the controllers is below 70 percent! In just a few seconds, once the controllers were seated correctly and below 70%, the lights stopped blinking and they charged fully. This bit of information could possibly be included in instructions by the manufacturer.
This charging unit is useless if you have any kind of grip on your controllers. I think it's a great idea, but I like my knuckles a lot This battery dock is just one of many things covered by the grip controller.
