If you intend to run over 7' of wire, you should use 14 ga. This is rated at 10 amps max so 16 ga will be fine unless you are running over 7' of wire. If you're using a fuse, make sure it isn't more than 10 amps.
You have 2 1/4 inches to deal with when the wires are plugged in
It has never been an issue for me.
I would not recommend getting a fuse that is bigger than a 10 amp in most cars.

There was a sense that the assembly would go smoothly, and to some extent, it did. It worked flawlessly until I plugged in the 12 volt plug to test it and the entire back came off the outlet revealing exposed metal inside the seat back where it was supposed to go. There was then the struggle to separate the blade connector from the USB plugs. I had to remove both plugs, remove the wires, find a replacement for the 12v Female adapter, and then reassemble the whole thing. Had it not been for the under-funding, it wouldn't have been as difficult This picture shows the view from the outward folding seat of a pontoon boat. If I did not have another 12v plug available, I would have to wait for a replacement part. As it is, I would not purchase this kit again.
I am delighted to see this. Upon receiving it, I found it to have everything I needed to connect it to my newly pulled 12 V There is only one power outlet on the dash and no power ports on the rear of my van. The fix for all of that is here. It's time to charge in style for my passengers. The one jack is no longer a matter of contention. I found this to be very helpful. I like how easy the installation was and the way it looked.
Located closely to the tailgate of my truck, this outlet is installed inside the bed. The drilling I did was with a 14" bit Hole saw that cuts 1/4 inch holes. I had no trouble wiring up. With the provided pigtail, I was able to connect the negatives together and ground them to a bolt Connecting the pigtail that comes off of the two positive batteries' terminals to a 10 amp inline fuse and 14 gauge wire allowed me to run the power directly from the positive battery terminal. The USB ports are illuminated by LEDs lit in blue. In addition to the wiring, connectors, 4 mounting screws, and 4 mounting bolts, the package included complete installation instructions. It appears to be of high.
Does not include a fuse holder despite having all the necessary hardware, wires, etc. A 1/4 inch hole needs to be drilled into the cable, and a plastic nut supplied with the cable needs to be used.
Despite the fact that the previous owner removed the cigarette lighter from my classic car because he performed a custom wiring job, this unit is a great addition. In this kit you will find all the wiring you need. It should be long enough to handle There are rubber pieces that fit into the USB slots when you close the cover, and the cover is made of a nice rubber material. The install was simple and everything worked as intended. I have no idea if these are actually CE rated, but I had no issues installing them.
It was impossible to use the 12 volt plug on my old boat because it was cracked and worn out. Certainly, this was one of the best It is very easy to replace. There were no brackets required, all I had to do is replace the old plug with the new USB plug, and I was all set It had been disconnected. I used the existing power plug to power it - and went on with my work. It only took ten minutes for all the steps to be completed.
A quick check of my Note 9 shows fast charging. I can finally charge my old 80s car with a quick charge from my QC. I love the backlighting on the USB ports, which is also a nice touch. Additionally, I confirmed that the chargers do not actually enable fast charging on my phone. The one I got also had a volt gauge, so I confirmed that it was possible to replace it with another such unit.
It would be very useful if my camper could be equipped with both USB ports and DC connections. The unit met all of my needs. Having to use blue LED led was my only surprise. Easy to install. Easy to operate. Although there's no specific purpose for this other than to beautify the site, I'm not sure why it would be included. This led is only a small one, but the battery on a camper uses it like a vampire. This is just another thing to drain slowly. Although the blue led must not take up a lot of energy, when you're camping remotely, every bit of energy you have It was not necessary to use the blue led.
