OtterBox DEFENDER SERIES Case for Samsung Galaxy S9 - Retail Packaging - BIG SUR (PALE BEIGE/CORSAIR)

The pros are It has a great texture - I really like that - This non-slip material is grippy enough not to slip off surfaces or out of your hand. There is no bulky look or feel to it because of it. If you lay the phone face down, it will look like this Toward the bottom and top of the case, there is a small lip that prevents the screen from actually touching the surface you're laying I think this is a very well-thought-out piece The design is out. The cons are In the paragraph following 1, It was only 5 months ago that the edges that contact surfaces the most started to rub or wear away Here is an image of (see photo). In my case, the purple case shows through a very dull gray on the edges where I have worn it. I don't think it detracts from the overall look and I do not find it terribly noticeable. It would be much better if the case took on some wear and tear The tears flowed! )

FYI, it does not come with a screen protector, but I'm currently using an IQ shield wet-skin model. In fact, I use a soft screen protector and have not encountered any issues.

The case is a bit difficult to take off once it is snapped on, but I do not believe it takes away from the build In case of a drop, it's built to stay in place!.

In the past, after having a wife and three teenage daughters, I've learned that these phones need to be protected. Our family has found that the Defender case is the only one that prevents my kids from damaging their phones. The two victims were run over after being dropped. It was the one in the otterbox that survived, whereas the other Three of them have suffered severe drops, while the two in the defender have If only they could keep their phones from getting lost. The case we're talking about is a strong one.

This case has only been on my phone a day, but I like it so far. Due to my boyfriend's otterbox for the LG20 and some parts of that case I do not like, I was a little hesitant to order it online. My first impression was that it didn't add a lot of weight to the phone, and it didn't feel bulky at all. However, the buttons don't seem to be stiff they work fine. One thing that is a little difficult is pulling out the tab for the headphone jack and the charger, but that gets easier with time. As well, I was worried that the sides of the case would be too low and not protect the device. In fact, the top and bottom of the case are raised up high enough so that the screen does not actually contact anything when facing up. I turned the phone to the side (assuming the surface is flat) but the phone did not make contact with the surface. Because of this, I felt confident about the ability of the case to adequately protect my information. As it does not come with a screen, I did purchase a screen protector also. My expectations were met in terms of the color of the case. This is all I have to say at the moment.

I have used the Defender for my old Galaxy S5 for years without any problems. It keeps the phone in great shape. The Defender model, however, does not come with a built-in screen protector most likely due to the curved edges of the S9. While I bought LK brand screen protectors that were supposed to work with the Defender, even after waiting the recommended amount of time to house the phone in the case, huge bubbles formed at the bottom edge of the screen most likely because the Defender is so tight on the phone. I highly recommend Otter products, but do thorough research before selecting a screen protector, at least for this particular model.

We enjoy spending time with my daughter Otterbox cell phone protectors for our new Samsung Galaxy 9 about 2 months ago cracked shortly after purchase. Our previous model had built-in screen protectors, but since they are no longer available, we bought the Defender model. These are not up to our standards, and we are deeply disappointed. These products were developed by an individual or group that made a grave Neither Otterbox nor its quality is acceptable to us any more.

I love this case, but keep in mind that it can damage your screen's plastic covering You just need to put the phone on This case is perfect for biking or hiking when we are on vacation or on vacation with another bag. When I am working in the machine shop, or sometimes even when I am at home. Although it takes an inordinate amount of effort to put it on and take it off, I still enjoy wearing it. This is a very rugged terrain. It has a nice color as well. With the purple Samsung S9, the colors look good together.

When I dropped my phone from waist height, I did not get any protection from this case. During a walk down a flight of stairs, the screen cracked as it popped out of the case. While the case provides full protection on the top and bottom, it does not provide any protection for the center of the phone. Additionally, the bottom protrudes higher than the sides of the case, meaning zero protection is provided. It was my first time using Otterbox and, unfortunately, it may very well be my last. I thought the company would provide more for its top of the line products.
