I was about to write the following negative review when I decided to give this device another chance. If you are experiencing any of the issues listed below, please continue reading for a solution. "I wanted to use this with my Samsung Galaxy S20 and Bose SoundTrue headphones. " br>br> This device made a static crackling noise whenever the cloth cable moved, and it constantly paused my music, prompting me to use it as a phone call device. This device's sound quality was excellent when using a 5 mm audio jack in the female port. The sound quality degraded as soon as I let go. The device did not appear to be in working order. br>br>I tried reconnecting the device again and discovered that my previous 3. The female 3 didn't seem to like the 5 mm jack. The port was 5 mm in diameter and partially protruded. I applied more force to this connection, and to my surprise, it fully engaged, forming a solid cable-to-cable connection. I plugged the other end into my S20 and started listening to music. There are no audio interruptions or interference, and the sound quality is excellent. I gave it five stars because it was a fantastic product, and I included two photos. One of the devices was properly seated, while the other was not. br>br>Another thing to keep in mind is that because this device plugs into your phone charger port, it's a good idea to clean the debris and lint out of that port before expecting it to work properly.

I purchased this adapter because my new Samsung phone lacks an audio jack, but I still wanted to use my high-end studio headphones. br>br>Do you know how cheap headphones will only work if you hold them in a specific position? This product allows me to do that with my very expensive headphones. The connection between the headphones and the female end of this adapter isn't secure, which causes the headphones to lose sound or become staticky. y if I move in a specific direction, and I occasionally become completely disconnected. If it's supposed to be a 3, this isn't going to work. It won't fit a 3mm hole with a 5mm hole. 5mm jack.

My earbuds appeared to be broken recently. I tested them on a device without the annoyance of a USB port, just as I was about to buy new ones. a device with a real headphone jack - The earbuds themselves are fine; it's just this product that's causing my Apple earbuds and phone to malfunction. br>This adapter worked for about 2 weeks after I received it, but then slowly degraded to the point where it is now extremely inconvenient to use. My headphones have a tinny sound quality to them. Whether you like it or not, the bass is completely distorted. Also, it keeps activating my spotify at random and misreading my headphones, which is strange. complete garbage. br>br> It is not worth it to save a few dollars and instead purchase the official version.

Uodate: In the end, I had to return it. By the 25th day, it was barely working. This converter was exactly what I needed to use my nicer headphones with my phone; it's well made, about 3" or so long, and the right size for the job. The construction is excellent, and I expect it to last for many years.

For about a month, the sound quality was fantastic, but then it randomly stopped playing my music, sometimes without warning and sometimes with warning. Then, after a month, it broke and no longer plays music. Which is extremely aggravating. I was so excited to put it to use, only for it to fail me. I purchased two, one for my headphones and the other for my car, and both of them broke within a month to a month and a half.

The quality appears to be good. Perhaps a little short, but that may be a good thing. My Samsung S20 was able to work with it. I believe a lower price would be preferable.
