Just a few days before my computer's graphics card went bad, I had bought a new mouse. In order to use the mouse with my MacBook Pro, I had to adapt this to the absence of a USB port in the new laptop. This link doesn't stick out too much and does its job well.

Charges the phone but not the battery

Originally, I expected it to charge my Pixel3 via a computer, but it does not. A USB connect is all that's needed to transfer data from a phone to a computer.

Your money will go further if you save The product was not what it was advertised as Make sure you read the fine print! It would seem this was made to fit - but I have no idea just what it was made to do

As far as I can tell, neither my MacBook Pro nor my LG G5 or HTC 10 worked. It is simply impossible to believe that such poor quality is available. There is no refund policy at seller's website, so I am unsure if I could take it back Avoid this product at all costs You may save money if you follow these tips You will not be able to retrieve it. It would be the perfect 0 star rating if it were possible.

It works as it should

Because of the smaller size and the fact that it doesn't hang too far off the side of my laptop (MacBook Pro) it's definitely easier to use compared to the Apple version. This mouse is mainly used for working with other USB drives, but it appears to work with others too. A material that feels like it would be more durable than a cheap plastic. This is a worthwhile investment.

This is a compact form factor, and a handy little connector to keep in the tool kit of an electronics technician, since most devices these days are moving towards USB C. If you have a niche need for it, it is well worth picking up.

To connect an external drive, which had a proprietary cable on one end and a USB connector on the other end, to a new Apple Macbook Air, which did not have a USB port, I needed to connect two out of the three cables You can connect them via the C port. I was very pleased with this adapter.
