I tried charging my MacBook with these, but they did not charge the laptop when connected to my lamp, which I know works because I charge my phone with it and have no problems. My MacBook even recognizes that it's plugged in, but the battery doesn't seem to charge. This is not a product I recommend. I'm returning them and will see if I can get better quality the next time or if I can plug them into an outlet with an extension cord.
