Great Idea, Great Build Quality, But Still Unsatisfactory. Since I felt it was a poor design, I didn't use it the way they designed it. In the end, I modified it a bit. To begin with, I had no desire to have the magnetic "X" on the outside of the case or phone. My otterbox has room for it, so it was going in there. My case has been laser engraved with the location where I would like to put the magnetic "X" this worked well. Despite that, I would not recommend it. Oddly enough, I'm not even sure what otterbox is made of exactly, but I think the fumes were I found that this method was pretty good for charge contact between the case and the charger. It never seemed to charge faster than conventional methods, but it seemed to be fine. This process worked okay, but not great, as I saw the phone's magnetic pull was temporarily lost ever so slightly, which negatively affected its ability to charge. My neodymium magnets fit perfectly in the 3D printed case I made for them that resembles the red X in the coin. My 3D printed case captured a lot of magnetic force, but some dimensional thickness caused the charging aspect to be less effective. Next, I used neodymium magnets from the case directly onto the charger, which did not pull away from the phone as I anticipated. There was an increase in the magnetic attraction again and this time the charging was enhanced. It was still charging efficiently at first, but after a certain point it just slowed way down I have yet to try another cord which may be the issue. Last but not least, the unit itself is bulky. In spite of its nice construction it sticks out quite a bit from the vent and that is a problem as the weight of the phone causes it to tip over as a result, which is not practical when using My 3D printed stop kept the phone from falling. It has become my go-to method for stopping the phone from falling. As of today, I ripped up all the foam that is supposed to protect a caseless phone, but I find it does nothing to help. With the help of neodymium magnets, I tried to decrease the distance that they caused. It's not clear whether that will be effective. In my heart, I hoped that this product would be better than it was and I still hold out hope that it will be. As it does not have the stop that prevents tipping and cannot conceal the magnetic "X" and has lower charging power than conventional cords, I cannot recommend the product. My ideal wireless car charger would be similar, but the charging portion sticks out a bit and has a carrying Ideally, the charger case would have a recess that accepts the charging cable, but you'd still need magnets and those would be built into the case, so a case and charger combination. My car just got one of these and I love it. Quite some time has passed since I should have acquired this. The only issue is that I can now see and navigate with my phone and Google maps while I drive hands-free and my phone will still be charged at the same time! I appreciate how convenient it is.

That decision I made a couple of years ago was a wise one. I like the magnetic mount that holds the iPhone 11 securely with the magnet provided while not interfering with the wireless charging feature. The product did what it claimed to do, and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase because it is a good product and useful if you do not want to have so many plugs and units in your car.

Using it on two different cases, I had to glue it twice and it eventually lost its sticky feeling and wouldn't stick. I had to use it on two different cases, and if took it off it separates.

I like that they give you the option to mount it on the vent or dashboard. Once you get it connected, you will be in love! The phone is sensed when it is near it, and it starts charging as soon as it is positioned on it. You have to remove your phone in order for it to release. Using it has never been so easy and convenient. You can also rotate the base to whatever position you like, whether it's horizontal or vertical, and it can be rotated I am surprised by how cheap it is, and how sturdy it feels - it really is a great unit! Price is likely to go up, but it is well worth the cost. Having purchased one, I now need to purchase a second one.

In general, I am happy with the charger itself. Until now, I have never encountered a magnetic phone charger that was so straight forward to use. The only complaint I have is that there is no communication. It lasted one month before the adhesive that held the charger came off. I am currently looking for something that will securely hold the charger onto the console it is mounted to without permanently damaging the console. The charger I recommend is a great option if I can find it.
