Again, money wasted, and it is already showing its weaknesses after just one month
I was pleasantly surprised when I received this holder for the first time. This is mounted hard since I use it to hold my tablet that I use to control our ELD in our The soft pads that are glued on the arms of the tablet case held up well for the first month, but now the pads have come loose and will not hold my tablet. The road was moving in the direction of the house. Eventually all the tabs will come off and the holder will be rendered It is my hope that the information in this review can be helpful to those considering You can find a better unit by doing some research. This is another waste of money.

Tested on the trail! I wanted a compass that would be robust enough to remain in place without moving from its set position when riding a mountain trail
Despite its shortcomings, this product does its job well. On my 04 TJ Wrangler, I installed it on the side of the dash (see photo), and it fits perfectly there, adjustable for any position. When not in use, I fold it up under the dash and it is out of the way.

This mount is used to hold an OBD2 monitor that I use to test my towing system while I have the Kindle HDX7 mounted on it. This mount is very easy to adjust. It has just one large knob that can be tightened simultaneously on both ends of the mount at the same time. I drove from Pennsylvania to Illinois and back with the tablet hanging on this mount without it moving. While my vehicle is not the smoothest, I did find the mount kept my tablet in place at times even when it started shaking. Surprised was the best word to describe my reaction. made of plastic, but it doesn't seem to break easily and it is not made to last too long. This mount can be easily removed from the tablet and its holder without affecting the position of the mount. As the tablet is held in place by rubber pads and the lever on the back is tightened down, it holds the tablet very firmly in place. There is no chance of it You should keep in mind that this is designed to be attached to your vehicle by screws or bolts. In any case, if you are okay with that, this can be a great little mount and a good value for money.

Fits the Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 but not the iPad mini
Even though the listing noted it would fit a Samsung 7" pad, the bottom of the cover did not match up properly. Unlike horizontally mounted receivers, vertical receivers had the pad fall through and the clamp pushed buttons. Even though the ipad was not intended for that use, it still worked. It's a quality product and I would have been delighted if I'd been able to use it with.

The base is good, but the mounting is poor
With an iPad 7th generation, I'm using this. A RAM ball base and ball are included in the RAM ball kit A ball mount is a quality product. This holder will only hold an iPad in landscape mode, otherwise you are relying on the clamping force on the edge of the holder to prevent falling The clamping of the device is done by a cam lever that locks the arms around the device, which is insecure, hard to get tight when it is in place, and on the flimsy side. The biggest complaint I have is that the mounting assembly slides on top of the RAM adapter, which I find absurd. I am concerned about the security of this. rotation of the iPad or live adjustment of the iPad cause this thing, iPad and all, to fall off the RAM mount. At the time, if you're on the road or in the air, this is pretty It will likely be glued onto this mount if I keep it.

Easily positioned and securely set, this table is stable and safe
I can read my tablet while walking on my treadmill since it is held very securely and is stable enough to be stable. Because there were no mounting holes on my treadmill and the design made it difficult to add any, I used the included mounting tape. Mounting the tablet holder with tape ensured that it remained firmly in place. One lever makes it easy to secure and release the tablet. It can be positioned easily both up and down and angled, which will keep your neck from feeling stiff as you read or watch.

I've been using it in my Pilot for years
I have been able to use it to hold my older iPad running GAIA for off-road navigation for a very low cost compared to other name brands. Since I have been using RAM mounts for years at work, this product is not a RAM mount, but it is really good for the price and for what I need it for.

The problem with most of these applications is that I can't control the jarring, and the locking mechanism on the iBolt opens when you hit a bump or have jarring, which is what I experienced with most of my application. The only way to use this is in a vehicle.
