Yes. Just because the card advertises speeds of up to 100 megabits per second read and 90 megabits per second write doesn't mean it actually does. Netac SD cards are inexpensive, but they're surprisingly reliable! I'm currently using a Sandisk Ultra 256GB that I paid $28 for and it's working fine. I mostly play Triple A games, with Doom Eternal being the largest at 28 GB. 3GB. I should have just bought one 256GB SD card from the start instead of three 64GB cards I ended up buying several months after getting my Switch Lite. Having all my games on three different 64GB cards was a pain. 🤣
The warranty is primarily to blame. When my standard Sandisk card died and I attempted to use the 10-year warranty, I discovered the hard way. The Nintendo Switch is apparently not covered by the standard warranty because it is classified as "a device where the SD card is the primary drive," which is a category that is excluded. So, if your card dies, tell them it was in a camera, cell phone, or something else other than the Switch. This card specifically mentions the Switch in the warranty and extends it to indefinitely.

The main distinction between this and a less expensive SanDisk Ultra is that this card is a U3, whereas the Ultra is a U1. The U3 facilitates installation and may reduce load times by a few seconds. The only reason I chose this card was because it was on sale for only $3 more at the time. I also get the fantastic design as well as four times the storage space. Those who are curious as to why the free space on the card reads 119 should know that it is due to the way gigabytes are calculated. br>The package is 1 GB in size, which is equal to 1,000,000,000 bytes. 1 GB is 1,073,741,824 bytes in real life. That's a total of 73,741,824 bytes. Per gigabyte, there are 7 megabytes that are missing. That adds up to a significant amount of money. This calculation method is used by all SD card and USB stick manufacturers. Sandisk is not the only one.

Actually, it's 59 GB, not 64. 4 GB. The package arrived on time, and installing the Micro SD card in my Nintendo Switch was simple, requiring only a software update. br>br>My major complaint with this product is that the packaging claims 64 GB of storage, but when I checked my Switch storage, it only showed 59. I don't know what could possibly take up 4 GB of storage on the Micro SD card. There is a total of 6 GB of storage available. I haven't saved any of my Nintendo files to the card, and it says it's empty, despite the fact that it has significantly less storage than advertised. br>br>In the event that it makes use of that 4. I'm assuming you've downloaded a few games directly to your Switch and aren't buying games physically/ downloaded Warframe and it's taking up all of your space like me it was a little confusing at first where to put this tiny SD card (smaller than a penny) but I'll help you guys out. If you don't know already the stand on the back of your switch hides the slot for the card so flip your stand up and slide it in like the picture on your switch shows you and You paid for 128 GB of storage, but your switch still needs to configure it to make it compatible, which will consume some storage. This happens with almost any type of storage unit on almost any device you use, so you're really buying 120-160 GB of storage. At least that's how much space is left in mine.
I knew I couldn't go wrong with this SD card because it has a Nintendo Switch logo on it, is fully endorsed, and was a lot less expensive than namebrand; I knew I couldn't go wrong with it, and my switch is still working perfectly. If you've already invested in a switch, go the extra mile and buy the additional memory for it; you'll need it.

To yse, it was simple and functional. It has a lot of extra storage space, so I'll be able to take more photos and play more games. It also has a nice logo/emblem, though it's hard to notice.
