Questions & Answers

Is this something that can be used with a switch?

Yes, the Samsung 512GB 100MB/s (U3) MicroSD Evo Select Memory Card with Adapter (MB-512GB) is compatible with the Samsung 512GB 100MB/s (U3) MicroSD Evo Select Memory Card with Adapter (MB-512GB). ME512GA/AM) is compatible with Nintendo Switch. It is not necessary to use the adapter card that comes with the package. Simply insert the MicroSD card, and the Nintendo Switch will prompt you for a software update and restart, after which you will be able to play Nintendo v7. 1 Everything is working fine as of 3/12/19. Now I have plenty of room to play Zelda, Mario, and other games. My Switch becomes an unrivaled digital entertainment hub thanks to this memory card.

Is this compatible with my GoPro Hero 5?

Yes. I've used 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, and 200GB cards in the GoPro HERO5 Black and HERO5 Session, which are fully compatible with both the microSDXC and microSDHC specifications (more on that below). There are also some 256GB cards on the market right now, but I haven't tried any of them yet. br>It appears that the cameras use the UHS-II card format. If you use a UHS-II drive, you will not receive any additional benefits. They have a II card in them (which will still work but will revert to UHS-II). br>For speed, stick with a card that's rated with the new V30 category or U3, though there are also U1 cards that work fine.br>I'm currently using this on my GoPro Hero 5 Session.

I bought this card, but it says "not support the sd capacity/sd card wad exceeded" when I try to insert it. I'm not sure how I'm going to go about fixing it. Do you have a ZTE Maven 3?

I don't own a Maven phone, but when a phone or tablet says it only supports 32GB or 64GB, the real issue is that cards larger than 64GB are usually formatted exFat, which the device can't read. Usually, the device will read the card if you reformat it to FAT32. br>br>Windows does not support reformatting FAT32 partitions larger than 64GB by default, but there are many free programs that can. Windows can recognize, write to, and read from reformatted devices, so once they've been reformatted, you can test them on a PC to make sure they're working before putting them in your phone or tablet.

In mobile testing, the Samsung 128GB EVO Select came out on top, performing admirably in both my PC and a Samsung Galaxy S8

I've compared it to two other popular cards so you can decide which is best for you. br>br>The cards that were put to the test are: abr> 128GB EVO Select from Samsungbr> - 64GB Extreme Pro by SanDisk - Testing equipmentbr> - SanDisk 128GB Ultrabr>br>SanDisk 128GB Ultrabr>br>SanDisk 128GB Ultrabr>br>SanDisk 128GB Ultrab The Samsung SM-G900 is a mobile phone manufactured by Samsung Using the A1 SD Bench with the G955U (Galaxy S8) - FCR Kingston - CrystalDiskMark 5 and an HS3 card reader via USB3 port 1 x64 (UWP)br>br>On the PC, the Samsung 128GB EVO Select and SanDisk 64GB Extreme Pro performed similarly, with the SanDisk 128GB Ultra falling short in write speed.

This card is terrible, and the customer service is atrocious! In the last year, I've bought three of these
3/5

I bought the first one for my Samsung Galaxy S7 and then another for my ASUS tablet a few months later. 6 months after purchasing the first memory card for my phone, the card stopped writing, causing my phone to stop responding completely. I pulled the card and my phone was fine, so I bought another, assuming I had gotten a dud. After a few months, the one in my tablet died in the same way; it stopped writing and caused my tablet to become unresponsive. The replacement card I bought for my phone finally died on Monday. All three memory cards lasted about 6 months and were purchased at different times, so it appears that Samsung memory cards have a bigger problem. I'm going back to only using Sandisk microSD cards because they seem to be far more reliable in far more hostile environments. For the past two years, I've used the same sandisk micro sd in my dash cam in my truck, which records 24 hours a day, seven days a week. br>br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. For the past two months, I've been trying to get my memory card replaced under warranty with Samsung. After two months of back-and-forth emails, we have finally reached a conclusion. They accepted one of my cards back on an RMA and assured me that the card would be safe during the RMA process, which I was concerned about because it contained personal information. My memory card, which contained my personal information, was lost by Samsung last week. They won't send a replacement card until the bad one is found. br>br>TL;DR; DR - Samsung memory cards come with a lifetime warranty. Their customer service is also among the worst I've ever encountered. br>br>NEW ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - I've been a loyal Samsung customer for a long time and have always been pleased with their products. Unfortunately, they have a lot of room to improve their customer service. I had this memory card, and after only a few months in my Samsung S7 Active, I couldn't write to it anymore; I contacted Samsung to have it replaced under warranty, and they assured me that my personal information on the card would be safe. When I inquired about the status of my memory card a week after sending it to them under an RMA, they told me that they had never received it and that UPS had not scanned the Samsung-supplied label, and that there was nothing they could do. They did, however, send me on a fruitless search for UPS locations, telling me that I would have to find it myself. I'm now $50 out of pocket because of the faulty memory card, my memory card is missing somewhere in the world, and I've wasted hours, if not days, talking to Samsung and going on a fruitless search. Samsung is currently refusing to assist a 14-year customer, and their customer service representatives are being extremely rude about it. I will never purchase another Samsung product as a result of my negative experience with Samsung's customer service and warranty process. Samsung is uninterested in honoring warranties or assisting long-term customers.

Well- Exclusive to Amazon (previously the EVO Plus); the go- Upgrade your phone's storage capacity by choosing from a variety of options
5/5

The Samsung EVO Select is essentially a re-imagined version of the original Samsung EVO. Amazon-branded a limited-edition version of the highly-anticipated rated Samsung EVO Plus microSD cards (note that the EVO Plus is not the same as the less expensive EVO line; this is a subtle but important distinction). The 64GB and 128GB storage capacities provide excellent value for money. Purchasing a bigger or more expensive item Performance cards are really only for power users (and may be of marginal use for phones that can't read larger fonts or run at higher speeds). Slower and/or smaller cards are functional, but they may slow down the overall performance of the phone. br>br>As a companion to your appropriate smartphone, this model has the performance specs to ensure that it won't slow down your device's operation while also providing the extra storage you might need if you're (finally/just starting/already) outgrowing the built-in storage. br>br>While many smartphone users will never need more storage than their device's built-in storage, for those who have reached their limit and have the ability to expand memory using SD storage, this purchase is a no-brainer. If you own a phone that runs Android 6, you'll be happy to know that you're not alone. Your device is usually especially well-suited if it is version 0 or newer. able to take advantage of this type of growth. In the best case scenario, you can see if your phone supports Adoptable Storage by conducting a search. You can move photos, default storage folders, and apps on a case-by-case basis in the worst-case scenario. depending on the circumstances.

This is an incredible card, and it's a steal at this price! I bought this micro SD card for my Galaxy S8 and Note 4 because I always run out of memory when I take a lot of pictures
5/5

br>I was looking for a UHS-II card. For 4K video recording, I speed-grade U3. This is perfect for my phone. br>The read speed was around 93MB/s, which was slightly slower than the advertised 100MB/s. The write speed, however, was 66MB/s, which is significantly faster than the advertised 60MB/s. It complies with the U3 speed class requirements. br>The price for a U3 speed class micro SD card is the lowest I've seen from any branded company. br>I have no complaints about the product and would strongly advise anyone to purchase it.
