So, when I got this in the mail, I tried it out right away without first testing it on my arm as the instructions stated. Directions are needed for people who need them. Well, I applied unevenly and way too heavily because I hastily mixed it. As soon as I put it on my clean, dry face, it started stinging pretty much right away. The sting was so painful that I just didn't wait 8 minutes. Despite being bleached, I couldn't tell that my hair was dyed. It's a YAY and an OUCH at the same time! In the area around my nose, my skin was all red and I had these weird little white bumps. As an effort to fully clean my face, I splashed it with creams and oils of all kinds. In a few days, the bumps had disappeared. My heart sank. During the second blend, I paid more attention to the blend. My skin didn't sting as much when I applied it more evenly. I felt these weird popping sensations and it stinging to the point of feeling itchy. This may have come from a few grains of activator that had not yet activated activate.
