It isn't the shell that is the problem. I run the shell under hot water for a second or two when it's difficult to get out. It lubricates the puck, allowing you to push it into your cup.
You shouldn't have to melt it if it's pretty much a standard mug. I use a small shaving bowl, but the puck is only two inches in diameter. It measures 25 inches in diameter. The standard mugs I've had are at least 3 inches tall, and the small pucks in packs of three were the ones I purchased. So, while I've never attempted to melt one, I suppose it's possible.
I've been using the same puck for about 4 months and have seen a 2-fold reduction in hair growth. Once a week, twice a week, and once a month, respectively. They lather up nicely with little effort, and I usually use more than I need for a single shave. Looking at the puck the last time I shaved, I'd say it's good for another month. So, perhaps 60-70. Is it true that you've shaved your entire body 75 times? That's a lot better than those dreadful spray cans.
This is not an issue for me. I believe it has everything to do with how much water is on your brush when you start brushing; I start by putting very hot water in the mug before brushing my teeth. The soap has softened and the top layer is hot by the time I finish brushing my teeth. Before making the lather, I drain the excess water, soak the brush in hot water, and shake a little of it out. I can work up a good lather with the hot water on the brush and the warm, soft soap. I slathered it on thick and worked it into my beard in a circular motion to allow the lather to build up. I don't have any issues with the lather drying out after that. Simply run the razor under water for a second if it begins to dry out. This will provide enough water to rehydrate it. Best wishes to you.

You simply will not find a better product for the price if you want a shave soap with the classic aroma of bay rum and produces a thick lather. In terms of bay rum scent, this is the real McCoy (beautifully-scented). cinnamon, clove/spice, and bay rum leaf) in a well-balanced blend). This soap had a thick, fragrant, and long-lasting lather. lasting. I only needed to apply one coat before my save, and I didn't have to re-apply it. Dissipation is a factor to consider. My skin felt soft and smooth after the shave. Because it's a glycerin-based product, I was able to put it in my shave soap dish, pop it in the microwave for 15 seconds, and it was ready to use. Melt the soap in the microwave for 30 seconds (depending on the power of your microwave). This is a soap that I will buy again in the future.
First and foremost, let me state that I prefer to lather after loading the brush with soap on my face. For that method, this soap puck is ideal. It's a glycerine-based natural soap with a pleasant but not overpowering scent. The scent lingers a little after shaving, but I don't think anyone else will notice; it's just a personal reminder of a great shave. I haven't noticed any skin drying, and the puck appears to last a long time. I've shaved with it four times now and haven't used very much. The lather is super silky smooth, and at $10 for a three-pack, you won't find a better deal.
If you haven't already done so, Col. You should definitely use Conk Shave soap. Because it's glycerin-based, it's simple to use straight from the container, or to melt in the microwave to fill out my soap / lather bowel, as I do. This comes in a variety of blends, but my favorite is the Bay Rum. The scent isn't overpowering, it's mild enough to complement an aftershave but not so much that it overpowers it. br>br>The soap lathers up nicely and provides a smooth shave by laying down a moisturizer for your whiskers and a slick base over which the blade can glide. Once you've tried this soap, you'll want to order it again; the three pack is a great way to get them at a lower price than the single pack. They do have an expiration date, but it's for a two-year shelf life, and even though these last a long time (about four months per pack if you shave four times a week), you'll use them all up in that time. They also make great gifts, so neither the product nor the money will be wasted. If there is a disadvantage, it is that Even after rinsing the sink with hot water, the glycerin base leaves a film. Once a week, I simply dampen my sink and scrub it clean with some hand soap. I should point out that bar soap "Dial" leaves a similar residue, so don't think this is unique to Col. Products made by Conk. br>br>I use Col. on a regular basis. Conk soap, in particular the Bay Rum soap - It should be obvious if someone is a repeat customer.
It has a wonderful scent to it. Bay Rum is light and refreshing without being overpowering. I microwaved a puck for 30 seconds in my ceramic shaving bowl. The soap was completely liquified as a result, and it hardened perfectly level in the bowl's bottom. The shave is excellent, and it's easily comparable to the Proraiso I've been using at a much lower cost. I begin with a pre-cocktail of Bay rum. Shave with this, then with the shave oil, and then with- As you may have guessed, Aftershave with bay rum is a nice, manly old-fashioned fragrance. The scent of time.
This soap lathers well and stays on for a smoother shave, as usual; the only difference I've noticed is that the Bay Rum scent is lighter than I expected after my previous order. Now, I'll admit that my previous order lasted about a year before I had to reorder three pucks, but it still appears that Bay Rum Oder is scarce. Still, this is only the first of three pucks, so I'll have to wait and see what happens next.
For years, I've had an old shaving brush and soap jar, but I've only used them until the original soap ran out and I switched back to shaving cream. I decided to give it another shot after finishing the last can of the four-pack edge from Costco - It's a lot less expensive and gives you three options. Four times as many shaves as four large-size edge cans. br>br>Well, it works very well, has a great old school smell that isn't overpowering and doesn't last long after you've finished shaving, foams up reasonably well (four stars), and works as well as any foam I've ever used - Here's a guy with 35 years of experience! I believe that having a high-quality Badger Bristle brush is essential - Mine has been in my family for 35 years and was previously owned by my father - It's at least 60 years old. and it still has all of its bristles - Getting a good lather for the best shave requires a good brush. br>br>I like the three-pack - I know to re-enter when I'm on the last one. I placed an order for them, and they came individually packaged to keep them fresh and dry - The only drawback is that they are inconvenient to travel with- Because the typical soap jar does not have a lid, it would make a mess in the shave bag - As a result, a small can of shaving cream retains some value. Real men shave with a razor. br>br> Simply inquire of a lady.
I'd been traditional wetshaving for 20 years and only used Italian-made soaps. I'm in a budget meeting today, and the situation for most Venezuelans is dire. and decide to give this "cheap" American Made Soap a try because of the high rating. Gents : I get the elusive PERFECT SHAVE when I use this soap. The blade (double Edge) will swoop down and pass over your head. With just a little water on the brush, the lathe is easy to obtain. Scent is absolutely required. Without a doubt. They don't last more than 5 minutes, but that's plenty of time to enjoy a breath of fresh air! I will undoubtedly purchase a different soap in the future, but this is a very good product that I recommend 100% and the price is a no brainer!.
This is a great shaving soap at a great price, with a delicate but pleasant peppery scent. I placed the soap blocks in old shaving soap bowls and baked them for 15 minutes at 180 degrees. After 20 minutes, the soap has melted and filled the old hair-washing container. Bowls that cost one dollar It's a win-win situation for all parties involved. In elegant bowls, great shaving soap.
