I was worried it would be too light. You can dim it by turning on the on button, but you need to push it hard. I'm a bit disappointed that it cannot be telescoped down or up, even though it can be tilted up and down. As it can't be moved closer or further away from your face, it places a lot of limitations on how you can use it. As for the lack of more than one light setting, I am disappointed, especially since the one setting has caused the LEDs to blind you because they are Light sensitivity causes me to experience strong eye strain and damage to my eyes when I am exposed to bright lights. However, it is very well made and does its job well, so it is worth buying. You can use this if you have a good place to sit and don't have an issue with bright lights.

There is so much light in the room that you can't see your face in the main mirror, so you have to use the side mirrors to see your face. There's no way to dim the light. . . the button on the mirror (touch screen) goes from on to off continuously. The three way mirror here is okay for what you pay for, but the lighting is awful. . . sorry,.

It was the ideal mirror for one of my performing arts students because she needed it for traveling to different theaters to set it up. This product is exactly what I needed and it has a great price. All the make up she needs can be done in this lighting. Her backpack folds up nicely, and it's durable enough to carry with her wherever she goes.
