I'm David, and I'd like to introduce myself. Currently, I'm trying to recover from my lip balm addiction I'm an addict. Trying to figure out how I became addicted is proving to be a challenge. When I was in high school, I kind of remember taking a hit from a friend's Chapstick. The feeling of smoothness and creaminess is still fresh in my mind. I really had a good time. This didn't come as a surprise because it ended up leading to As my experience with Patches has grown, I have progressed from occasional users to thinking about my next fix constantly. The review I am writing is based on my personal experience with these so hopefully it will be useful to somebody who is trying to decide which one to buy. As a general rule, I don't use thinner lip balms with the weird plastic tip that you have to rub all over your lips. I only use Burt's Bees. On the other hand, this one impressed me pretty much. In my opinion, the best part about this product is that it absorbs into your lips quite quickly, so you won't be left with a greasy feeling or shiny finish These are great to use if you're intending to be outside and need some protection against the sun on your lips, or if you find that your lips are looking rather chapped during the winter. The stick of Burt's Bees won't completely replace this one, but I think it's an addition worth looking into that I tend to constantly reach for. The fact that they are not flavored is also worth pointing out. These flavors are all smell only, you will never be able to taste I could still smell the scents half an hour to an hour after applying the balm. If you run your tongue over it, it has no taste, but my palate could not detect the scents. The SPF didn't have that bitter taste some lip balms with sunscreen tend to have, and it also didn't sting like some other lip balms do. It almost slipped my mind that it actually protected against the sun. Having no chapped lips for the first time in 17 years is an amazing feeling. Over the years, I have used a variety of natural organic oils, bee waxes, and intensive night creams for my lips, but nothing has worked as fast or as well as this balm. The original Jack Black lip balm is not contained in this product. There is also no vitamin E or shea butter in it. A listing of its inactive ingredients shows it to be an inactive ingredient. You use vaseline on your lips to get the same effect because it's mainly petroleum.
