The remedies I've tried range from Vasaline to Carmex to Blistex, Chapstick to Bert's Bees to La Mer, but none worked. One of the best lip moisturizers I've ever tried. The same is true of my lips, which are affected by chronic eczema. Since I was a kid, I have had eczema on them all the time. Earlier this month, I went to a dermatologist to address a severe flare up. Dr. Dan's Cortibalm Lip Balm was recommended because it gives an excellent, long-lasting moisture to my lips. I used my topical ointments and creams on other parts of my body and on Apparently, it worked for her when she had eczema on her lips. As far as she knew, Amazon was the only place where it could be found. Despite my skepticism, I decided to give it a shot to see if it worked. My order for a four-pack arrived within a short time. Using it immediately led to clearing up of my itchy, rash-ridden, peeling lips within two days. By the third day, the lips were smooth and have stayed that way If you have eczema on your lips, this product is a must-have. I use it three to four times a day and would recommend it to anyone. The reviews I read about these balms convinced me to purchase them. It's EOS I use every day, but going on isotretinoin (aka accutane, claravis) for my acne, I find that my skin and drips have become very dry and that Eos balms can't help much. -These lip balms work GREAT -my lips stay moisturised and soft all day - I have never had chapped lips. What's 8 hours? at the office and while I'm sleeping since I can't be reapplying all the time. The only down side is that it doesn't smell great, but I am glad My lips feel moisturized and don't feel dried out after using this balm for about 30 minutes before I apply lipstick. I have seen good results since lipstick can sometimes make your lips feel dry.

If you could make a finger application tub with the same consistency as your sample packets, that would be wonderful. While the lip balm in chapstick form is good, its consistency is not as good as the one in The Dermatologist gave my daughter the sample as a way to help her with her dry lips. My daughter found it worked so much better and she says she is now using it after her dermatologist gave her the sample. It would be nice if you could make it in a squeeze application tube, so long as it retained the same consistency as the sample itself. Though I know it should be the same thing, the chapstick doesn't perform as well as it should.

My lips have never been the same after I had a weird dry spot appear a few winters ago. Such a strange condition had no cure, except this lip balm. In the past, I've always used whatever lip balm I had on hand, but after using a "natural" homemade one, I developed an irritating allergic reaction resulting in ugly, red and chapped spots In my fear and disgust, I tried all kinds of remedies just to get my lips to look and feel normal again. Those are Burt's Bees, Aquaphor, Chapstick, and plain Vaseline among others. The problem cannot be solved. It's important to be careful when purchasing peppermint essential oil in lip balms, because although it's natural, I have irritated lips due to it. My lips had been red, dry, and itchy for several months before I tried this lip balm containing cortisone that I really can't think of an unnecessary color, flavor, or other element that would in any way make matters I really like the texture of this cream, as it feels smooth and hydrating without being sticky or oily. There was an illness called Actinic Cheilitis in my case This occurs when the lips become super dry, chapped and cracked since various factors (sunlight, immune deficiencies, etc. ) contribute to the problem. Dealing with this type of situation can be painful and embarrassing Because it is so common, it can be mistaken for a cold sore infection - especially if it is severe. This is not the case in reality. After doing some online research, I found a published study that proved Hydrocortisone was not only effective but pretty safe for the individual who was using it to deal with their Actinic Cheilitis It seemed like a good idea, so why not give it a shot? After going to Walmart, I bought the generic OTC cream, and it worked GREAT, but if I got some in my mouth, it tasted disgusting. The product does not do that, however. This has been a great median for me, I don't get chapped lips since purchasing it 2 months ago. There hasn't been a single day when my lips have been dry, chapped, cracked or cut. That is excellent, I will continue to buy it and if anyone else suffers from Actinic Cheilitis, I highly recommend it. It is also highly recommended that you buy it.
