Are animals used in the testing of this product?

Thanks for reaching out to me. Greetings, Howard. Thank you so much All Quinn's products are not Thank you from all the staff at Quinn's

What is the percentage of benzoic acid in the product This is meant as an alternative to alcohol, according to my reading. ?

We do not use benzoic acid in our Quinn's Witch Hazel. We appreciate your business and wish you the best

Could this be misted on as opposed to put on a cotton ball using a spray bottle?

Because witch hazel is a thin liquid, it will be easy to mist. That seems like a good idea to me. You have given me an excellent idea! I never thought of putting it in a spray bottle! It is a pleasure to hear from you. Thanks. A few times I have purchased this brand and I am very happy with it.

This is a good product, but not the best
5/5

I've been shaving with a Double Edge Safety Razor for about 4 years now. I have tried many different things during this time period to be able to shave with the most effort and I found that Witch Hazel is one of the best things for me, though it may not be for everyone. This product is great for an aftershave (I use it after shaving and also for cleansing my face afterward). When I first started looking for witch hazel, I found Thayer's unscented and with aloe. My favorite! It works great and is easy to use! As a result, I switched over to Quinn's about three months ago to see how its Witch Hazel stands up against the "top competitor" in the WH market. Quinn's Witch Hazel is the one I switched to because of the price, where I was able to get about 25% more product for the same price, and because Thayer's and Quinn's seem to have the same ingredients, so I assumed they were the same. My first instinct was to know that there were differences when using the Quinn's but I neglected to take notice of them until later. Since I wanted to ensure that I was giving a fair review, and not one that was written after I purchased the product, so I am nearing the end of my first bottle, which I think is a reasonable amount of time to complete my I feel a sort of film that remains on my skin after I use this product. I would like to assume it is the Aloe in the product. I used to use Aloe for aftershave when things got rough (with shaving) and it feels very similar to just rubbing Aloe directly Aloe leaves a lingering sensation for a while but not as heavy as when just using it straight. At the time of writing this review, I had just shaved my face last night, and my face is still relatively smooth. After not using Thayer's WH for about 3 months, I used it last night to compare it to Quinn's to see how it held up in comparison. The Thayer's product readily absorbed into my skin and left it feeling moisturized, smooth, and soft. It felt exactly the same after I used it this morning after showering (as a face cleanser) I've got about 20 minutes to spare). This evening, I used the facilities at Quinn's after work. My skin has been on my face for about 2 hours while writing this review, and I am feeling the aforementioned "film" or residue from it that I am not a fan of. Having evaluated Quinn's, I might recommend it as a good product, though not the best. It is going to do what Witch Hazel is supposed to do, and has the same effects as Thayer's, from what I have seen. Some people use White Horse for skin care and aftershave (and I'm sure other opportunities as well), and I would suggest Quinn's or Thayer's for these WH has the same ingredients, so it will produce the same skincare effects. If you want your skin to feel good after using WH, for whatever purpose you intend to use it, then Thayer's is the way to go. Using Quinn's leaves your skin feeling smoother, which is what I like. If you're not bothered by the Aloe scent, you can use it. Thayer's is the brand I'll be using until I run out, but then I will switch back to my current product.

Service provided by the cleaning staff was outstanding
5/5

The product itself did not meet my expectations. Due to Quinn's customer service, I gave them a 5 star rating. My hope was to find something a little more moisturizing like the homemade brand, so I tried However, it feels greasy on my skin and irritates my skin a little After trying to make it work to see how it works, I had to rinse it off every time because the burning sensation kept occurring. After receiving my Quinn's products, I received an email from Katrina asking if I was satisfied with their product. I explained my experience, and by the next day I had a full refund via Amazon. I received an email from her informing me of the same. The representative said she understands that not everyone will agree with their product. There is always an element of risk when trying a new skincare product. It would have been nearly impossible for me to leave a negative review (or any review) with my experience, but Katrina and the Quinn's customer satisfaction outreach made me very happy, and I commend them for it.

It is made with high-quality Taking care of my family and myself requires me to make my own skin care products
5/5

Witch hazel is one of the ingredients in a lot of my toners, hand sanitizers, moisturizers, etc. I had no idea that the witch hazel I had been using Due to the fact that some users of my products have sensitive skin, I was displeased to find out that my products contain alcohol. purchased Quinn's alcohol free witch hazel because the ingredients were clear to me. The whole purpose of making my own products is to be able to control what goes into the products. Quinn's alcohol free witch hazel met my standards, so I decided to purchase it.

I really like this product
5/5

It has a cucumber mint scent and I In the past, I used Thayer's, but after they switched the ingredients, I needed something without the contaminants and additives. Although my skin is extremely sensitive, I'm pleased with this product. I enjoyed the smell. It doesn't hit you too hard, but it's a nice refresher. This brand is fantastic, cannot recommend it enough. I will definitely be trying the other scents and products they have to offer.

Replacement for the alcohol and peroxide in my body
5/5

This is super useful for essential oils and wound care! I'm so glad I bought In the event of little scraped knees, I always carry a little spray bottle with me. I also use it to make linen spray. expecting my first baby in October, so I know it'll come in handy for "DIY tucks pads" as well. The fact that it is alcohol-free and unscented is awesome- Each brand had some sort of artificial fragrance in it in the store I went to I hate it!.

This was the first time I had used it, and liked how it smelled
3/5

Growing up, I used to see my grandmother applying witch hazel all over her face every night and didn't like the smell. The Quinn's is so gentle on my skin that I don't even need a night cream anymore - and I don't even use any odorless products. It's a big deal for me since I live in a high-income area Climate in the dry season. The product is excellent! I highly recommend it!.

What if witchhazel is not the first ingredient? Boxes arrive in good condition with the safety seal intact at the time of delivery
5/5

As far as I can tell, everything is going well. When I use witch hazel, I do things like washing the walls, and I do household things. It does not have a lot of scent and does not have witch hazel as the first ingredient. My witch hazel is more astringent than that and I don't like There are definitely antibacterial/cleansing properties to it, but I am not convinced about the benefits to sensitive skin. There is nothing in this that makes me think it is a toner for the face, but all the other brands I've tried haven't irritated my skin, and the first ingredient is witch hazel. As of now, it will do the job, but I don't anticipate purchasing anymore because of my own tastes.
